RandyMarsh Posted February 7, 2025 Posted February 7, 2025 It'll come out around the 26 or 27 draft that the team that is picking number 1 had an unprotected 1st lined up for Beasley but the trade didn't go through cause Malik told Trajan he loves Detroit. Quote
Betrayer Posted February 7, 2025 Posted February 7, 2025 A dude who's been the heart of this team and is in the conversation for 6th man of the year says he actually wants to be here and we just immediately go to, "it was a mistake" or "we're gonna pay for that later"? The fanbase trauma is hilarious, even when the team is exceeding all expectations. Quote
Deleterious Posted February 7, 2025 Author Posted February 7, 2025 He's only judging the first round. 1 Quote
Betrayer Posted February 7, 2025 Posted February 7, 2025 They named Cade to the 3pt contest and not Beasley. What the actual f---? Quote
Deleterious Posted February 7, 2025 Author Posted February 7, 2025 Sounds like Dallas is a circus. Death threats for Nico Harrison. Security is beefed up. Quote

Trying to come up with an analogous situation to put myself in their shoes and I can't think of one for Detroit sports in my lifetime. We traded away some beloved players but they were almost always during a downtime with the franchise or were older. I guess the closest comp I can think of is Billups for Iverson but obviously Billups wasn't as good as Luka and was quite a bit older. Quote

Obviously not even close to Luka but I was just a kid. I was only 10 when the Tigers won, so this was my first serious title and Mahorn was one of my favorites. Plus the dumb expansion draft was the day of the parade or day after. I was pretty upset. Quote

Deleterious Posted February 8, 2025 Author Posted February 8, 2025 Pretty difficult pass to throw. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted February 8, 2025 Posted February 8, 2025 Anthony Davis with 24pts, 13 boards, 5 assists and 3 blocks in the first half thus far against Houston in his Dallas debut. Quote
Deleterious Posted February 8, 2025 Author Posted February 8, 2025 AD playing great and missing the rest of the game due to injury is the most AD thing ever. 1 1 Quote
Hongbit Posted February 9, 2025 Posted February 9, 2025 Wow. this is huge. LA doesn’t get that much needed big man. Quote
Deleterious Posted February 9, 2025 Author Posted February 9, 2025 Does mean LA will be center shopping this summer if Detroit is inclined to move on from one of theirs. Quote
Deleterious Posted February 9, 2025 Author Posted February 9, 2025 Big day for Pat Riley. Pretty sure he holds some Three-Peat trademarks. Quote
Deleterious Posted February 9, 2025 Author Posted February 9, 2025 Just turned it on. Hubie still sounds like a young man. Quote
Deleterious Posted February 9, 2025 Author Posted February 9, 2025 Luka about to drop 84 on these fools next game. The fact he thinks this statement somehow helps him is mind blowing. Taking a giant dump on your organizations second favorite player is never a good idea. I assume he doesn't mean 370 pound Shaq? 1 Quote
