Deleterious Posted February 2 Author Posted February 2 In the last 7 games Houston has beaten Cleveland twice and Boston once. They also lost to Detroit and Brooklyn, both at home. Quote
Deleterious Posted February 2 Author Posted February 2 Cava had 91 at the half against Dallas. Bunch of people sitting for Dallas. Quote

Hongbit Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Ausar can be really good but Amen is better. He’s a got superstar potential. Quote

He didn't miss months of progress with a blood clot, gets more playing time, and didn't play for Monty who benched him early last season after he was getting the 3rd spot in the rookie of the year conversation. I think Amen's ceiling is probably a bit higher which is why he was picked earlier in the draft, but I also think Ausar would be much further along without those complications. I think of it as Ausar being 1 year behind in his development, much like when Cade lost a year to injury. 1 Quote
Deleterious Posted February 4 Author Posted February 4 Yep, the blood clot was huge. He ended last year hurt and still wasn't cleared for 5v5 until after this season started. His entire summer was lost. He also didn't get any training camp with his new coach. His first time running JB's system was 20 games into the season. Amen is in his second year with his coach. I also just think Amen is better. What separates them is Amen's handle. He has legit PG skills and can run an offense. Much easier for him to get to the rim than it is for Ausar. Shooting needs to improve for both obviously. But Ausar developing some ball handling skills will be his swing skill, not shooting. 1 Quote
Hongbit Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I can’t imagine what Amen with a shot would look like. Probably battling Wemby for best player in the league in 4-5 years. Quote
Deleterious Posted February 4 Author Posted February 4 Amen has to lose the braids. I turned his game on and thought Ausar was playing for Houston. Quote
Deleterious Posted February 5 Author Posted February 5 I feel like Duren has had games with over 5. Quote
