Think of Cade this way.

He just had a great season and playoffs while still having some problems in his game.

Now imagine what a monster this kid will be when he starts to solve some of those problems.

Last night, game 6 was a 2 point game to start the 4th quarter.  In the 4th, Steph went 1-7 from the floor for 3 points.

It happens to the best of them.  Relax about Cade.

I was thinking the exact same thing watching that game.

It should be a 3-3 series heading to New York tonight.  A few things go different and they could actually be in the second round right now.  These are things that absolutely LOL to think about heading into this season.

Cunningham is not a perfect player, he’s not at his max capacity yet.  This current core, if there is one, isn’t complete yet.  There’s still work to be done.  As buddha said, growth isn’t always linear.  Hopefully there are a few moves to be made to augment the cast around Cunningham rather than just sitting back and hoping for maturity amongst the youngsters.

But this was a delightful season, no question.  Pro teams should play to win championships, but I’m quite content with what they accomplished this season considering where they’ve been.
