slothfacekilla Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 Stetcher makes it 1-0! Veleno worked hard in the corner before it go cycled back Quote
gehringer_2 Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 momentum pretty much shifts to NY in the 2nd but Dekeyser with a cute off the back board rebound pass to Larkin and the Wings still have a 1 goal lead. Let's hope the Rangers over extended as much energy in the 2nd as the Wings did in the 1st so the Wings can hold even in the 3rd. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 early in the 3rd, wings looking like they are waiting to lose. Need to pick it up to match NY's energy level. Quote
lordstanley Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 Powerplay coming up, insurance needed. Quote
lordstanley Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 Wings lucky to still be tried after a yawning net for Zibanejad. 2-2 with 1:20 to go. Quote
lordstanley Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 Bertuzzi has the best overtime chances. Larkin made a great defensive play! Off to the shootout. Quote

gehringer_2 Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 (edited) one of worst looking examples of shoot out you'll ever see but the Wings prevail! Edited February 18, 2022 by gehringer_2 Quote
lordstanley Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 That shootout had everything. Zibandejad’s move was so good I almost pulled something just watching. Then Erne and Fox both failed to get off a shot. Strome missed a wide open net. Then Suter won it! Quote
gehringer_2 Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 Seider 26 min, Larkin almost 25. Blashill's going to need to watch that. Quote
lordstanley Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 6 pts back of Boston. Bruins has 3 games in hand o Quote
gehringer_2 Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 Wings are having a hard time finding a balance between coming out flat and over-extending themselves in the 1st period. Quote
1984Echoes Posted February 18, 2022 Author Posted February 18, 2022 Can't wait for Vrana to get back. Actually... already excited for next year, in a big way...! Quote
