I gave up on this game and watched Jason Statham’s Wrath of Man instead. It’s not a particularly good movie, but it’s better than this game.

Next time the Tigers throw up a stinker here's a show recommendation. The Partridge Family Goes To Detroit. Aired in 1971. "From Season 1, Episode 18 'Soul Club' - The Partridges and Ruben are in Detroit for a performance. Due to a booking mix-up, they arrive at the place where the Temptations are expected. The audiences are totally different. The Partridges agree to perform and hope for the best".  Appearances by Richard Pryor, Lou Gossett Jr. Not to mention by series regular, the lovely Susan Dey. What more can you ask for.

I didn't know the outcome of this game until today, the day after.  It's like how I used to get game results as a kid, from the next day's newspapers box score.  West coast games were often finished too late to make it into print, so I had to wait two days to learn the outcome.

I saw Jake had a HR and thought which one is that for him now.  Only his second?  Then I remembered I did the exact same thing when he got his first.

I think Chris Hernandez was taken on a dare.  Someone has a side bet with Fetter on whether he can fix him.  That has to be the reason Tigers took him being last in line on the waivers line.

Ah yes, remember those days well chasing west coast boxscores.

Re Hernandez, clearly out of his depth at this level.  Always feel bad though for the human
