chasfh Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Well, Jesus, Tork, I expect you to make up for your lack of range with a sure glove. Bad time to muff that one. Quote
chasfh Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Schneemann smacked Jack on that one pretty good but right to Riley. Nice to catch a break like that. Quote

lordstanley Posted September 24 Posted September 24 McKinstry hits it hard….far an out. Of course. Quote

chasfh Posted September 24 Posted September 24 If we end up losing this game smoking the ball all over the place that they magically turn into outs, while our pitchers dominate their hitters but they dink and doink their way to their runs, I might weep real tears afterwards. Quote
lordstanley Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Tigers lead 1-0. Tigers seem to seeing Bibee well. Quote
chasfh Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Another smoked ball for an out by Parker. At least we get a run out of that, courtesy of the Sweeney medium-hit single. Quote
monkeytargets39 Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Look what happens when you don’t strike out twice every inning Quote
monkeytargets39 Posted September 25 Posted September 25 Even though we only got 1, we are making him work—which is a nice change of pace. Quote
chasfh Posted September 25 Posted September 25 Another hard hit ball for the groundout. We are smacking Bibee around pretty good and getting very little for our efforts. He’s at 55 pitches now so he’s got only, maybe 35 left in him tops before that shutdown bullpen comes in, so this next inning with Tork, Riley, and Wenceel coming up is really crucial for us. Quote
chasfh Posted September 25 Posted September 25 Flaherty gives up a #9 hitter’s second career home run. Sadness. Quote
chasfh Posted September 25 Posted September 25 (edited) Wenceel draws ball three and four on what could have been strikes two and three. Two on, no out. Edited September 25 by chasfh Quote
Sports_Freak Posted September 25 Posted September 25 Start the runners...hit and run...jump start the offense. You know, manage? Quote
chasfh Posted September 25 Posted September 25 Whoa, McKinstry beats out the relay to thwart the double play. Guy can def scoot Quote
Sports_Freak Posted September 25 Posted September 25 Or just wait for someone to hit a ground ball double play? Quote
