gehringer_2
wings without a shot through 11min against a bad team... Ned came to play, but apparently no-one else, Edited March 20, 2022 by gehringer_2

Skating in molasses and making mindless passes that are all turnovers.
gehringer_2
Zadina gets open, shoots it right into the goalie pads...../..sigh.../
gehringer_2
Wings let the Kraken keep the offense completely out of the the center of the ice. I don't think the Wings executed a single weave, pick or drop pass in the period. Just brainless skating into checks along the boards and giving up the puck on shoot ins. lordstanley
Ned's shutout streak extends to 4 periods. Even stopped the mighty Riley Sheahan on a chance late in the 1st.

lordstanley
Wings take a much undeserved 1-0 lead, Veleno from Larkin, just after a huge PK that included a 5 on 3 for a minute.
gehringer_2
Larkin with the ole' 'pop out of the penalty box and set up the goal' trick. Edited March 20, 2022 by gehringer_2
lordstanley
Wings have turned this game around, at least on the scoreboard. Hirose with the PP goal. This is his first goal with the Wings since November 23, 2019.
gehringer_2
as much as I hate how passive the Wings play on the PP, the Kraken just showed what happens when you are too aggressive - gave the Wings a pretty easy PP goal.
lordstanley
That PK gave the Wings a big boost. They have been fine since then. 2-0 after 2.
gehringer_2
Larkin and Bert set up Zadina beautifully again and he doesn't beat the goalie.
lordstanley
Seattle back in it. 2-1, still 12 minutes to go.

gehringer_2
even more terrible. Now down 3-2. Osterle just held his stick up so that shot could pass under it....
gehringer_2
Kraken are going to score within 10 seconds of the Wings pulling Ned.... well, it took a minute - but 4-2 Seattle. What a depressing performance. Frustrating to watch how much space opposing players always have in the Wings zone and how completely covered the Wings always are in the other team's zone. How did they put together such a poor skating team? Edited March 20, 2022 by gehringer_2
