Deleterious Posted yesterday at 02:00 AM Posted yesterday at 02:00 AM If you could only view one stat to determine how a team is doing, net rating would be it. So good news for Detroit. 1 Quote

Deleterious Posted yesterday at 04:26 PM Posted yesterday at 04:26 PM OKC has had an even easier schedule than Detroit. 2nd easiest in the league so far. They do have the league's best record, and their 2nd best player hasn't stepped on the court yet. Must be nice to be that good and about to get back a guy that made 3rd team all nba last year. Quote

Don't forget all the picks they still have, including 2 that are lottery picks as of right now. Quote

We won't see Ivey at full strength until January. If he's just now getting on the court for solo work, he won't be cleared for full 5-on-5 for another couple of weeks at least, then there's the "re-conditioning" period they like to do for a couple weeks, and then they'll start giving him very limited game minutes near the end of December. My bad, I saw team and went right to individual years. Yeah, they are in a position to be excellent for quite a while. They are dirt cheap right now, but they will start to get expensive next summer when Chet and Williams extensions kick in. SGA's extension starts the summer after that. We'll see how they navigate that. I don't think you can keep 3 max players with the new CBA. At least not a small market team like OKC who can't afford luxury tax payments. Quote
Deleterious Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Do our beat writers know Tobias is on the team? He has missed 6 games now and nobody has yet to ask about a timeline for his return? 1 Quote

I imagine it takes time to get into game shape, especially the way the Pistons offense runs. They're all out on almost every possession. Quote
Deleterious Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Cade and Duren are out. Stewart and Ausar will play. Quote
Deleterious Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago My bad, Thompson is out. I didn't scroll to the second page and missed his name on the injury report. Quote

Hart Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago It's culture shock watching NBA players that are severely outmanned and fighting for their jobs play hard and hustle their butts off. 2 Quote
