if the internet existed in the mid 80s, there would be breathless tweets about how great kelly tripuka was because he scored 35 on the nuggets...

that's how i feel now with all these tweets about the offensive exploits of jaylen johnson, or josh giddey, or mitchell or harden, etc etc etc...

its because no one plays defense and the league changed the rules to make defense impossible.  were in steroid era baseball home run rules and everyone is getting overly excited about brady anderson or luis gonzalez hitting 50 home runs.

it's also guys the emergence of guys who  shoot >40% on threes. It's driving points per possession into uncharted territory.

Look at the Bulls shot chart against Atlanta.  Not a single shot attempted between 10 feet and 24 feet.

This is the problem with Young being back.  I would rather have Johnson taking this shot.  Assuming Tripuka wasn't available.
