ben9753 Posted Tuesday at 02:39 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:39 PM Every draft should be a lottery with all teams having equal opportunity. Why should teams be rewarded for sucking? Quote
buddha Posted Tuesday at 02:51 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:51 PM locking lottery positions after march 1 will lead to MASSIVE tanking until february 28. Quote

Deleterious Posted Tuesday at 03:40 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 03:40 PM Pelicans win their 5th game in a row last night. Quote
buddha Posted Tuesday at 04:09 PM Posted Tuesday at 04:09 PM as long as you have a draft, you will have tanking. the purpose of the draft is to distribute the best young talent to struggling organizations. it still does that. Quote
buddha Posted Tuesday at 04:10 PM Posted Tuesday at 04:10 PM i dont mind the idea that a team cant win the lottery two years in a row. or cant be top 4ish two years in a row. Quote
Deleterious Posted Tuesday at 04:15 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 04:15 PM Every consecutive year you are in the lottery, you lose 3 draft spots. First year in the lottery, you draft wherever the lottery puts you. Second consecutive year, you get assigned a draft slot by the lottery, then subtract 3 places. 3rd consecutive year in the lottery, subtract 6 spots, 9 spots, etc. 1 Quote

I've been preparing for an OKC dynasty similar to GSW recent run. SAS is going to be right with them if Wemby stays healthy. The Spurs are crazy good. As decent a player as Holmgren is, Wemby is clearly on another level. And Wemby is starting to do some trash talking, which is fun to watch. Very confident player and he definitely backs it up. As soon as that game ended I watched the Pistons. Was impressed by Westbrook. Cade played well but I think he seems a little sluggish recently. I have some concern by the end of the season he may wear down. Harris sort of took over the closer role and it worked. Still seems that Detroit would greatly benefit by adding a legit gritty consistent scorer Edited 23 hours ago by papalawrence 1 Quote
Deleterious Posted 22 hours ago Author Posted 22 hours ago Yeah, I think most people just assume San Antonio is a one-man show. He's obviously their best player, but they have a lot of young talent around him. I'm looking forward to the rematch tomorrow. Quote
buddha Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago if wemby can stay healthy he'll be a generational player. yet another gift the league has given to the spurs via the lottery. 1 Quote
Betrayer Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago League should be addressing fouls and referees, not tanking. Fix the game by allowing the defender the right to his space and making it a no-call or offensive foul when the offensive player initiates contact. 1 Quote
buddha Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago amen, brother. its infuriating to watch harden simply run right into somebody, fall down, and get the call every time. brunson too. Quote
