Went to bed early so tried watching today. After Larkin getting speared in the nuts went uncalled but the retaliatory slash did I gave up. Larkin needs to do better, but dirty **** like nut shots on a face off needs to be caught real time. It’s the bare minimum. What should have been a 4-on-4 turned into a 5-on-3 and a 2 goal deficit.

I was only able to watch like five minutes of the game and this is what I managed to catch!  I was not happy haha

A turning point for sure. Then Kasper being stopped on a shorthanded breakaway right after the 2-0 goal.

Do you feel like we are headed into a similar situation as the last few seasons where we falter down the stretch in late February and March or do you feel this team, this year, is better positioned to close out the season strong? Where are you at given how we've played heading into the Olympic break?

I am confused as to how emergency conditions would apply right now?  Seems like a way to pay them some more money during the break but just seems odd.  Bodies for practice I guess?

Bought a ticket for Montreal at Detroit in March. Went to a Pistons home game in December, but this will be my first Wings game at LCA in a few years.

Will Larkin be getting any time off? First game Thursday. I’d think of resting him until at least Saturday’s game.

I don’t think that’s a luxury they have at the moment.   They will need every point they can get.

I could see him missing time.  I imagine he'd go to the Trump State of the Union after the invite after posing with the FBI podcaster for multiple pictures.  So that could complicate being at the first game back.  He's already laid the ground work for being injured or slow play when he does return:
