You can't option an injured player either.

If you want to keep an injured player from counting against the 40 man, it is either 60-Day or release them.

looks like most of the injured guys not already on the 60 are too close ready to play to put there - Lee, Horn, Sweeney.What's the deal with Jake Miller?
