Jokic has now clinched a triple double for the season.  The second time he has averaged that in his career.

I think I read he will also be the first player to lead the league in rebounds per game and assists per game.

We haven't had an American MVP winner since Harden in 2018.  I don't see an American winning it in the immediate future either.  If one does, it will probably be the result of the 65 game rule.

Who are the American candidates?  Cade, Ant, Brown, Tatum, Jalen Johnson?  Great players but a step behind the four foreign players, probably.

Maybe the way Europeans develop youth talent is better than our system.  Ironically, Americans would have a fit if a 14 or 15-year-old turned pro like Luka did.  But they are perfectly fine with a kid the same age being taken advantage of by AAU coaches and shoe companies.

MVP. Just like last year and in 22-23. But they'll give it to the free throw merchant again.

I would take Wemby but have no problem if they pick Jokic.

i'll be interested to see how teams guard wemby in the playoffs.  i suspect they'll just try to beat the **** out him.

Either are solid selections. I don't have a horse between either, but averaging a triple-double is hard to ignore.

Luka pulled his hamstring tonight. He was grabbing it in the second quarter and the Lakers kept him in down 30 at the half.
