Didn't matter the Cavs dominated in every aspect of the game. Even in the paint where the Pistons make their bread and butter. The idea they where 9 points ahead in game 3 with 3 minutes left leading the series 2-0 and end up like this is unbelievable

The knock on JB has always been he's not a strong X's and O's guy, and he did nothing in this series to prove that wrong.

For seven straight games the Pistons switched everything.  That left two of their worst perimeter defenders out on an island against the two best Cavs offensive players.  Most of the time Detroit didn't even fight it.  Often switching before Cleveland actually made physical contact on the screen.  

I don't understand how you make zero defensive adjustments the entire series.

JBs post game presser was the epotime of "just happy to be here". Sorry, you can't even say you're dissapointed after getting blown out at home in a game 7? and scolding the reporter for even thinking about asking if you're dissapointed. Gross.

all the smoke from behind the scenes is that the front office thought this season was a fluke and they didnt want to go "all in" yet.

I would offer Duren 4/$80 million and tell him to go find a better offer.  I match up to 4/$100 no questions asked and go no higher than 4/$120.

I would offer Ausar 5/$150 million and probably go up to 5/$175 but nothing higher this summer.  

I doubt he would sign either of them.

By the way.  The Pistons are now free to make trades, with a few rules.

They can only trade with other teams whose season is over.  They can not trade any pending free agents, like Duren.  I don't think they can trade anyone with a pending option either, but I could be wrong on that.  

I'm having a hard time coming up with any trades that have actually gone down during this period.  Most want to wait until the new season starts on July 1st.

Stupid NBA seeding. The #1 seed has to play the #4 seed and not the #8 seed who advanced. It woulda been nice facing Philly and then a NY/Cavs winner.

Crazy idea that would be awesome: the higher ranked teams get to choose their opponent. Would make for great drama.

I’m interested to see what buttons Trajan plans on pushing this offseason.  I can’t say that I’m very confident that he will make good ones but I’ll wait and see. 

I’m not sure anything really matters as JB isn’t going to take any team to the Final, much less win it.   He’s all rah rah and a tactical train wreck. That’s never going to be good enough to win deep in the playoffs.

No, just re-seed like other sports do. The #1 seed plays the lowest remaining seed.

And next year will be tough with Boston and Indy fully healthy.
