I feel like they're close to competing, they just need to reset the team a bit.

Getting a few of their regulars back from the list should help some.

Not well.  337 is creating new ones by thumping me for wanting gritty players.   He's demanding talent.

yes, I have been doing that in this forum for 23 years now.  yikes!

I will grant you that the Tigers have a very bland group of personalities and that they would be more entertaining with a few characters or rebels or something.

He seems to have a problem controlling his anger rather than being a character.  I guess Rogers would qualify.

Rogers would be a good counter balance to the gritty leader we don't have.

Team leaders are not "gritty" though.  Gritty is used for a utility player who lacks talent but hustles and fights hard and gets the most out of his abilty.   He is usually short, shows his emotion and doesn't shave regularly.  A team leader is intense, competitive, hard nosed.  The modern term seems to be "gamer".   He is a regular and one of the best players  on the team.  He doesn't show a lot of emotion except when it's required to motivate his teammates.
