UCFKNIGHT Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago The Tigers 2026 season has been a disaster, but the SF Giants broke the spirit of the Detroit Tigers organization when they swept the 2012 World Series. Dave Dombrowski hires Brad Ausmus when Jim Leyland retires. Dombrowski is fired and Ausmus was a failure. Al Avila was a below average GM. Ron Gardenhire used the Tigers to just grab some cash. Gardenhire's heart wasn't in the job. Al Avila hires AJ Hinch after he and the Houston Astros disgraced the game. 2024 and 2025 now look like fraudulent seasons. Our Tigers haven't done very much correctly since 2012. Quote
