I’ve seen Dingler go up and talk to his pitchers that are Spanish speakers and didn’t think much about it and then I realized he probably speaks some Spanish and I looked it up and apparently he knows enough to communicate which is cool.

I like how Montero looks like he balks on every pitch (which I know he isn't).  Reminds me just a little bit of Luis Tiant.

One player that I always wished he was a Tiger, I wanted to root for him.   I loved the eyes to the skies delivery.    Another pitcher in my wish list was Sudden Sam McDowell just because I liked his nickname.

Those Indians pitchers were pretty cool. Growing up near Fort Wayne, Indiana a local kid Steve Hargan was a big deal.  Unfortunately, he seemed to burn out pretty quickly; had two or three really good years and that was about it. I was totally a Tigers fan, but since he was a local guy and in the newspaper a lot, I followed him and Tiant and McDowell were pretty awesome to follow too.

I started imitaing Tiant in backyard games all the time.  I did it so much that it became automatic.  I even pitched like like him in Little League games without even even realizing it.  I didn't look to the sky, but I held my glove and twisted my body the same way he did.

Gotta give Hinch credit tonight. Our offense has been struggling and he jump started all this scoring by putting runners in motion. That has to be a hard decision because of the downside but it worked to perfection.

Of course they have a big day offensively on the evening I go see the new Jackass movie

My son went to see it last night and loved it. He also went to see James Gunn’s new DC Supergirl, and said that was pretty much of a letdown though and expected better from Gunn. But I think he was just a producer and wasn’t directing or had much control over the script but he did have to sign off on everything so I guess he can be held accountable. Many reviewers are saying the actress deserved a better vehicle.

Today was probably the last time I’ll go see a movie in theaters for a long time.  It was half new stuff, half old bits.  Kind of just a love letter to the fans of the series.  There’s nothing on the horizon movie wise that I have any interest in seeing upon release.  Maaaaybe the Simpsons 2.

In the last two or three months, I’ve only used my Regal unlimited subscription twice, once seeing good luck have fun don’t die, and the backrooms. It’s all horror, horror, horror apocalypse, a new minions, a live action Moana.. personally, there’s not a lot there for me. I’ll probably go see the new Christopher Nolan Odyssey film, but that’s about it.

The White Sox had a +21 run differential just from today's game! Went from -3 on the season to +18. Reminds me of the time I started off a round of golf with a fluke birdie and ended shooting 94. -1 to +22 within 18 holes.
