i think it signifies that vrana has an amazing shot.

he's got great speed amd a great shot, but he's not that big and he can float a lot.  especially on defense.  i think washington saw him as a luxury player.

i think if you put him on the top line with larkin and bert and he stayed healthy he's one of the top goal scorers/snipers in the league.

i'm hoping we get a legit #2 center, ras gets stronger and goes back to wing, and then you have vrana on a line with a playmaking center (like shayne wright!), a big forward to do the dirty work, and a finisher/sniper like vrana.

Yeah I’ve gotta think there is more skill involved in hockey’s shooting percentage than in baseball’s BABIP for example. I should check what Bossy’s rate was and what is Ovechkin’s.

Ras has looked stronger on his skates the last month or so...picked up the pace of his play too.  A good off-season of work and he could be a real plus next year

In this Flames and Canucks game the whistle blew just before the puck crossed the line and somehow they did allow the goal.  Very confused.  Maybe the rules are different in Canada?
