Waiting for the turnaround

In the back of the mind, there's a continuing thought that the Tigers, who, have with few exceptions, have been terrible. So, they're bound to come out of this collective funk together, too. Then look out. Right? I've been waiting for it, occasionally seeing glimpses, which bad teams typically do. So, I'm waiting. And waiting. And...

I have literally given up on this franchise as long as Illitch and Avila are a part of the picture. I believe, and have for quite some time, that Avila isn’t a MLB GM. Illitch doesn’t give a crap about this team. I still believe Avila has Chris believing that the sun will rise any day now so he rolls along unconcerned.

The Yankees series was my last straw in having any hope for a turnaround. This dumpster fire of a franchise is the new Lions and Chris Illitch is the new William Clay Ford.

Up until this week, the pitching staff has kept 2 of the 4 wheels from falling off. I think the stress on the pitchers has finally caught up and those last 2 wheels have fallen off now. It’s gonna get REAL ugly from here I’m afraid.
