agree there. Maybe in all the general controversy about it,  POC's box office numbers got lost in the noise because I don't have any recollection of it having been a big box office hit either. I wonder if that includes overseas?

And this week, the film has the highest ever domestic gross for an R-rated feature. The former record holder? Just our lord and savior Jesus Christ. The Passion of the Christ held the record for more than 20 years at $370 million. According to Deadline, the two week gross for D&W is now $395 million domestic.

I'm not a marvel fan but I assume this flick is also benefiting from lack of competition?

Probably. I don't really know. I haven't been to a movie in ages. LOL! I just thought it was funny that Deadpool passed Passion Of The Christ. I never would have guessed that was the #1 R-rated movie.

I would have guessed 75-80. She looks awful.

Are you just going by how she looks on The Bear? She's supposed to look awful. She's playing a trainwreck of a mom.

Eddie Murphy is having himself a fairly decent late-career revival. Good for him.

He's done that a few times. Every time he starts to fade, out comes a Boomerang or Dreamgirls or Dolemite to bring him right back.

If Parker is right, he does change the game with his speed and defense.  Hope we get this version.

I assume this means Baddoo is getting the boot? My son is wearing his jersey to the game tonight. LOL!

Skeeter Barnes.  The guy could play anywhere, didn't hurt you defensively and was a solid hitter.

He'd probably be hitting 3rd on the 2024 Tigers.

You're probably right, even though he's 67 years old.

Saw AJR with my daughter last night, she absolutely loved it and I was thoroughly entertained as well.  Quite a production for a band that I would have never thought could fill LCA.

Every AJR song I've heard is super catchy. I wish my daughter would have wanted to go to that show...

  9. The only thing that annoys be about the app is if I'm watching the pregame, it doesn't automatically roll me to the game. It kicks me back to the Bally home screen and I have to select the game. It's also moderately annoying that I had to select just one market/team. In Toledo with cable/DirecTV, you would get Tigers, Guardians and Reds all included. With the app, you have to pick one. Not a major deal, but annoying on days when the Tigers are off or played early.

Wanna feel better? Look how Eduardo Rodriguez is doing for the Diamondbacks. $80 million for 4 years and he still hasn't pitched for them. He's hurt. I'm glad we didn't extend him...

Problem is, for every bullet dodged we have like three Jordon Zimmermans.

I have done it a number of times. Make sure you use PSA there are cheaoer options but the industry grades their quality differently. I would check with a local card shop to see if you can piggy back their shipment or send 10 or more cards to get a better rate. Last time I sent out to PSA it was a 6 month turn around.

Definitely using PSA. I really only have three cards that might be worth four figures. Everything else is in the $75-$150 range. My plan was to submit two of the three and see how that goes, before sending a bunch of others. I don't care too much about how long it takes. I'm not in any hurry.

  12. Has anyone submitted baseball cards to PSA for grading? I have a few cards that seem like they could be worth it, but the process isn't cheap. The younger me actually made good decisions though and put them in hard plastic cases quite some time ago, so they actually do appear to be in perfect condition.
