  1. That’s not a real photo
  2. NPR is way behind. The presidential election was a long time ago.
  3. What do we think the photos are that Jahmai Jones has of Hinch, and would Harris please cut him anyway?
  4. I put the odds the Tigers make Paddack look like a Cy Young candidate at 80/20.
  5. Tork is anti-clutch. .207 with runners in scoring position .172 career average with runner on second 6-62 with bases loaded or on 2nd & 3rd
  6. "This is the spot Hinch game-planned for Jones, and so Jones has been preparing all game to face this guy in this spot." Jones strikes out. "So anyway..."
  7. I feel the same way. Jury Duty landed perfectly for me. Company Retreat is fine, but it's not great. And it's not the "target's" fault. He's great, as you said. Of course, Jury Duty had the added benefit of being able to utilize James Marsden, which obviously is not possible here.
  8. Thanks for that. I was looking for clarity on DirecTV, since that's what my parents use.
  9. My wife and I just started rewatching The West Wing on Hulu. Episode three (A Proportional Response) is about this very idea of the US using it's full might on a "lesser opponent". You might guess that it came to a different conclusion than Pete did.
  10. I have very little confidence in Parker Meadows as a contributor on offense. (I almost used Offensive Contributor, but that could be interpreted either way... LOL) I hope I'm wrong about that, but I just haven't seen it from him on a consistent basis. You can blame injuries if you want, but it still remains that he has been largely a disappointment at the plate when he's been out there. He's certainly still young enough to get back to the stretch where he was a fantastic looking leadoff hitter, but for me that leash is getting pretty short.
  11. How is it possible to over simplify the plot of a Jason Statham movie?
  12. Good on Oblong for not sugar coating it for Casimir.
  13. Sure. As much as they need to be in year one, they would still need to be in year nine (or whatever). There are always more basket weaving classes.
  14. I've decided that I am mostly fine with this. I know if I could have continued to extend my college experience, I certainly would have. Add in the fact that they are now getting paid (though these guys likely not a lot) and they aren't prospects at the next level, so I have no problem with them hanging on as long as possible. Is it a little bizarre? Of course. But there are plenty of other things wrong with college athletics that are worse than this. I say let them play as long as they want.
  15. The best part is that they are joining the Mid American Conference because Northern Illinois is leaving for the Mountain West. 🤣
  16. That was probably a staffer.
  17. And Casey not in any Tigers gear. Trade confirmed.
  18. One year in and you are 3/3
  19. Because protesting gangs is not a super effective strategy, while protesting government overreach is an effective strategy.
  20. I can get behind that, if his defense can hold up and if his offense is adequate and if 2024 Tork doesn't come back...
