  1. No, he has CONCEPTS of a plan.
  2. I live on a cul-de-sac, so we get together with the neighbors and all setup in one driveway in the front of the cul-de-sac. When the kids come up, we tell them to take one from each bowl (there's seven or eight bowls). We are all eating, drinking and talking, and so not paying much attention. It was rainy anyway, so there weren't a lot of kids. Anyway, this one kid came back to the table AT LEAST seven times. Always with the same "Trick or treat" and look on his face, like he was there for the first time. It was quite funny. He was probably nine or ten. He had (I assume) his brother with him the first few times, but by the end it was just him. I swear the last couple of times he didn't get more than a house away before he turned around and came back. 🤣
  3. One day later than was promised, but yay! I've actually never seen it, but love I Think You Should Leave. I've watched two episodes of Detroiters already, and I can tell that it's going to work for me.
  4. They already had that stupid FanDual parlay for every game, which seemed like never won. If anyone was actually betting those, they need to have their head examined.
  5. He's pretty much down to Ted Nugent and Kid Rock as being available to him to play.
  6. With non-power hitters that strikeout too much?
  7. Now there is literally no downside to winning tomorrow.
  8. Don't worry. Playing the Yankees will give us all the prime time and Bob Costas you can handle.
  9. Looks like 8:00 AM cider is on the menu.
  10. Bligh Madris is not a name I expected (or wanted) to hear again this season, especially since it would mean no Carp for the Yankees series.
  11. It would be quite possible that I would watch zero minutes of that. That is by far my least desirable matchup.
  12. That's what I thought too
  13. Is there anyone that looks at the patch that says Oxy, and doesn't think of the drug? I actually have no idea what that truly is.
  14. Same, though he was on short rest. Still, to not even go two innings was very surprising.
  15. I am really surprised the Padres weren't able to close that series out last night. It seemed setup perfectly for them, with Freeman out and Dodgers having to do a bullpen game.
  16. Doing all I can. I'm wearing the same clothes, and will get the same food and beer. It's really all up to my dad though, and whether he is sitting in the correct position or not...
  17. I look forward to attending my second straight clincher.
  18. Right. Whatever you are willing to pay to be add-free, there are companies willing to pay much more than that to ensure you see them.
  19. There is no reason we shouldn't light up Cobb. Of course you can't take anything for granted in the playoffs, but we should jump on him early and often.
  20. If the Tigers would have won Saturday, this could have been one of the all time best sports weekends. Three "top ten" SEC teams go down. Michigan loses. Michigan State loses. Buckeyes roll. Packers win. Browns and 49ers lose. Good stuff all around, except baseball and that changes today!
  21. Boy did that game get chippy, not only between the teams but also with the fans. There was a 15 minute delay between innings because of issues with the outfield fans and the Padres players. And Flaherty and Machado were having A LOT of "conversation". After Flaherty struck him out, you could clearly see him say "Get back in the dugout MFer!".
  22. Fascinating. This isn't some young, inexperienced closer. He's one of the best in the game.
