  1. I love that Portland Oregon track she did with Jack White. It's not on Spotify though, so I never really get to hear it anymore.
  2. Hey now, I'm not 50 and I know the reference well!
  3. I changed it back to the football game before the ball even hit the ground… Sorry, but watching the Vikings lose takes precedence for me over Sept baseball for eliminated teams.
  4. I mean, this is really it. If they wanted people merging a mile earlier, they would have closed it a mile earlier. Sitting in traffic with an empty (still open) lane next to you is a bad idea.
  5. I enjoyed Squid Game as much as anyone else, but Odenkirk got completely hosed on that. Also, I loved the character Ruth on Ozark, but Rhea deserved that win. The last season of Ozark was a bit of a mess, while BCS was delivering the goods. PS: I was very happy with all of the love White Lotus got. That show was a lot of fun.
  6. I have added this to my to-do list for smoker recipes. Looks great, and seems simple enough even I can't screw it up.
  7. I'm not thrilled the banning of the shift passed. Now hitters have even less reason to adjust. Not to mention that fielders will just move as close to second base and the outfield grass as they can get. The pitch clock I like. The long delays between pitches has been annoying for years. Bigger bases I don't care about. I don't even know what "problem" that was solving.
  8. I have a Spotify playlist that started as a workout mix, but has morphed to basically be nearly every song I like. It has stuff from the 70s/80s all the way up to new music and includes rap, pop, rock, Prince, Jimmy Buffett... I just looked at it, and it has 1466 songs on it for a total of 91 hours. LOL!
  9. Agreed. I feel the same way every time there is a "royal wedding". I don't understand all the hoopla. At least in this case she had been a very public figure for a long time.
  10. Now there's a titillating's matchup... September baseball when your team is out of it, totally sucks.
  11. Thank goodness for free Sunday Ticket Max. Those four games all stink.
  12. If that's what you think I said, then that's on you. All I said was, if you felt personally attacked by the speech last night, then you are probably a hard core MAGA already. I didn't say you had to like it or agree with it. If you did feel personally offended by the speech, well then I'm sorry that you are a MAGA that should fuck right off.
  13. If your opinion is that the 2020 Presidential election was stolen and don't think J6 was a big deal, then yes, please, fuck right off.
  14. Anyone that is clutching their pearls about that speech last night needs to take a hard look in the mirror. He was clearly talking only about the hard core MAGA crowd. If someone feels threatened by that, then they can go f@&k themselves (to borrow a phrase from the Red Hats).
  15. Yeah, for every Maverick there are way more Coming 2 America's. I have virtually no hope for Beverly Hills Cop 4, especially since it will be direct to streaming.
  16. Disagree. Sat behind a family with three older boys (early 20s) at a Pirates-Brewers game. The oldest had done some stupid parlay, where he needed Brewers to win, Adames to homer and something else. The homer and the "something else" happened pretty early, so all he needed was for the Brewers to hang on in a game they were already winning 3-0. Bottom of six comes and Pirates get two guys on. Youngest brother says "I don't know man, I feel a Oneil Cruz homer here..." Two pitches later, POW. Three run homer for Cruz. LOL! Older brother starts to lose his mind, while the youngest howls with laughter. Pirates scored two more runs and went on to win 5-3. It provided boundless entertainment for me, as well as a life lesson in sports gambling for my 17 year old. 🤣
  17. Did anyone else watch The Rehearsal on HBO? That show seriously messed with my head. So bizarre, and somehow fascinating…
  18. I can admit that this used to be me. Now I get angry at those people that are doing nothing but artificially moving the merge point way back from where it should be. I've done a lot of roads trips over the last month, so I can't remember where I saw it, but they actually had signs telling people that a lane closure was coming but NOT to merge yet. Then at the last 1000 feet or so, there was a "zipper now" sign. There wasn't much traffic at the time, so I can't really say if the signage really helped at all, but I thought it was a great idea.
  19. OK, so the courtroom stuff was not an effort to help Kim, but just to come clean like she did. That makes more sense. https://www.rollingstone.com/tv-movies/tv-movie-features/better-call-saul-series-finale-explained-creator-interview-1394766/
