  1. So many open threads with that. As you said, it isn't completely clear what she did or didn't do. Also, you assume Ethan messes around with the friend's wife in retaliation, but again you don't know for sure. I agree that Ethan's character is not very sympathetic, but I thought the idea of him not being able to shake the images of what he thought his wife did was well done. I was a little disappointed in how predictable the storyline with the hookers was. Since Lucia had told Mia that she was going to scam Albie out of a bunch of money, I was hoping for a curveball somewhere in there. It turned out though that's exactly what she did. Tanya's (and Portia's) storyline was probably more convoluted than it needed to be, but it was still engaging. I mean, if the idea was to kill Tanya for Greg, it seems like there was ample opportunity to do that without having to entertain her for three days (or whatever it was) with parties, operas, etc. You could tell there was something off with that group from the start, and it just got more and more foreboding as it went on, which I thought was great even if it was overly elaborate.
  2. I finally finished season two of White Lotus. The hotel staff were not nearly as interesting as they were in season one, but I enjoyed the guests a lot more this season. Aubrey Plaza is just great, as usual. I think I enjoyed that storyline the most.
  3. What?!?!?! If we can't post ignorant opinions on the internet, then what are we even doing here...

  6. I watched Bullet Train on Netflix while on a flight. A ridiculous movie and plot in every way, but also a lot of fun. If you want a mindless action movie that doesn't take itself seriously, it will do nicely.
  7. Jack White is amazing. Don't miss on the Raconteurs and Dead Weather.
  8. Writing Golddigger and then still ending up having to pay $200,000 a month in alimony will do that to you.
  9. The paramedic in that trailer is the "disgruntled employee" from those Twitter videos. I'm not sure what it says about me that I recognized him instantly.
  10. My nickname from my older brother is Neil because of this show. I don't look or talk like him at all, but he was our favorite character. My brother still calls me Neil almost exclusively.
  11. Not sure. I tried to look it up, but didn't see anything. It does say season 3 is expected to be shot in LA though.
  12. "I Think You Should Leave" is utterly brilliant. Sure there are a few misses, but the hits are amazing and quite frequent. It's on Netflix, for those unfamiliar.
  13. Same. No idea who I would prefer to run in his place either.
  14. Agreed, though I do really like Mandalorian.
  15. I started Yellowstone last night, and I agree with you. I'll give it some time, but the first episode definitely dragged. I had been wanting to watch it, but don't subscribe to Paramount+ and the first season is only on Peacock. I noticed though that DirecTV has a Paramount channel. I setup a recording for all episodes and waited. Finally last weekend they had a marathon of all of the previous seasons, so I got them all. Now I have 38 more episodes to watch. LOL! I'll watch a couple more this week, and if it doesn't grab me by then, I'll just delete them.
  16. This is the unfortunate truth. It seems to be just behind Texas and Florida.
  17. While I am mostly disappointed in my state of Ohio, at least Majewski got it handed to him. I never really expected Dewine to lose, but I was hopeful Tim Ryan could beat out Vance.
  18. Too bad there isn't a version yet for Honda, or I would get this for my wife for Christmas. It annoys her to no end that she has to push that button every time she gets in the car.
  19. My son is a senior in HS and we went on a campus visit this past Monday. While there he posted about it on (I think) Snapchat. Someone who is a freshman there replied and was going to meet up to talk to him, except his class schedule conflicted with what we had scheduled. He made sure to say that my son could reach out with any questions he might have though. The amazing thing about this to me is that the two of them are not friends. They went to the same grade school and maybe played soccer or baseball together a time or two, but they never hung around together or anything. It's what social media is supposed to be for, and it just blew my mind that teenagers can (and do) use those apps for good. You always just hear about how they are used for bullying, etc, so I was very pleased to see the other side of it.
  20. Gross. I want to see anything but that. LOL! I was rooting for the Ms yesterday, but I have a hard time seeing how they bounce back from that loss. Just excruciating...
  21. The whole supply issue is still nutty. I've been car shopping recently. The Chevy dealer says that some features are missing (heated seats and the like), but they will be treated like a recall once the chips are available. Reasonable enough. Mazda on the other hand are also missing features (sat radio, power lift gate), but with no plans to take care of it later. They just knocked a couple hundred bucks off the price. I actually ended up ordering a Honda CR-V, but without being able to test drive it or have any idea of when I'll get it. That was about 3 weeks ago, and I still don't even have an estimate of any kind. I really like the look of the Mazda CX-5, but the controls are really wonky. Instead of a touch screen, they have this weird control knob on the console between the two front seats. I don't think that's any sort of supply issue, but was designed that way. Hated it.
