I wonder if the Tigers go big on getting a SPer at the deadline (I don't know what top quality starter might be available) with the obvious hope of winning the WS this year, but also to give them the option of a replacement for Skubal (of course, anyone would be a step down) so that they feel free to trade him a year before he becomes a free agent. That way they can possibly get a better package for him.

Rain is past where I am, so let's play ball! (Of course, Madrid Spain might not matter much in the decision making...)
