  2. What do the American people get out of this gladiator show. As a US Citizen and therefore part landlord of the White House I demand the current occupants be evicted immediately and charged for repairs to correct the damage they've done. I also insist that the payment be made in US currency, not any of this pretend stuff

  13. We enjoyed Portland, ME during our brief stop during a cruise last fall. Stayed close to the port but did a nice amble around the tourist district. About 15 years ago we did a tenting trip thru New England and into Acadia. Way too much rain but did enjoy the park. Nothing against “Mainiacs” but I won’t interfere in there elections and don’t expect them to influence ours here in Virginia
  14. Among those named to this committee is John Dickinson of Pennsylvania, who has been Congress' strongest voice against independence. The seeming contradiction is explained by Dickinson's insistence that a firm union of colonies is necessary before they can consider breaking free from Britain. Dickinson will end up being the primary writer of the first draft of the Articles of Confederation--a draft that ends up being unsatisfactory to the states because it enlarges the power of the central government so much. The document will undergo months of rewriting before approval. Other members of the drafting committee include Samuel Adams (Mass.), Edward Rutledge (S.C.), Robert R. Livingston (N.Y.), Thomas McKean (Del.), Stephen Hopkins (R.I.) and Roger Sherman (Conn.). New Jersey is left unrepresented for the time being since none of its members are in Philadelphia.
  15. I like the apps just for test results and to have a place where my appointments are. In reality, I just need to change the notification settings on my devises. The thing that set me off the other day was 24 reminders of rehab sessions. They are twice a week for 12 weeks...every one of them was a separate reminder. It was also delivered pre coffee...
