  1. Or enduring that 5 plus hour train ride. Amtrak on the Eastern Corridor is so much better. Business Class is very reasonable, $10 a day parking in Richmond and maybe a 2 hour ride to DC. It beats putting up with congestion and crazy drivers on I-95
  2. With Trump’s latest nominations what are the chances we get to see the boardroom style firings reminiscent of his defunct TV show. Celebrity Sycophants every Thursday night on Faux Propaganda
  3. I’ve pretty much cut out soft drinks, especially because of the interactions between the sodas and drug I take for my lungs (Ofev). I’ll do an occasional Ginger Ale but that’s about it. But then I’ve also cut back on wine, except for an occasional small glass of Petite Verdot. Lots of water and the occasional beer if we visit one of the local breweries.
  4. I found this breakdown in Virginia interesting. Considering 3 years ago the Republican candidate for Governor basically won in a landslide. (Given that McAuliffe was not a great candidate). What is interesting is the closeness of the races (Presidential and House of Delegates) in what have been traditional red districts. https://cardinalnews.org/2024/11/20/harris-carried-7-house-of-delegates-districts-now-represented-by-republicans/?utm_source=ActiveCampaign&utm_medium=email&utm_content=Water advocate champions change for a Henry County neighborhood long dependent on wells&utm_campaign=Wednesday%2C Nov 20%2C 2024 Take a look at the 7 Republican districts that Harris won.
  5. Isn't Diet Coke Trump's drink of choice. I seem to remember him drinking about 12 bottles a day last time he was in the White House. He even had a button on the Resolute Desk to summon someone to bring him a drink
  6. Clowns to the left of us, jokers to the right. Here we are, all getting screwed
  7. I was referring to the Stooges like Thomas, Alito and whomever passes for Curley Joe on any particular ruling
  8. And yet when Geoff went 18 for 18 against the Seahawks earlier this season it wasn't a "perfect rating" Stupid stat

  11. https://www.npr.org/2024/11/18/nx-s1-5195524/pennsylvania-election-ballots-senate-recount is this the issue your talking about? https://www.npr.org/2024/11/18/nx-s1-5195524/pennsylvania-election-ballots-senate-recount About 400 "dirty ballots". Misdated, not sealed properly, etc. The Trumpublicans are afraid that there might be a few votes for Democrats in there. Funny these are the same guys who argued they should be counted in 2020 when they were losing. Hypocrites.
  12. What the President Elect and his court seem to forget along with several members of Congress is the three branches of government are equals. That's third grade Social Studies.
  13. It's Bucks County, get your facts straight. Not really
  14. I've heard rumors....many MAGA election officials had access to voting machines in key precincts. Just sayin...
  15. Axios reporting a possible Trump/McConnell fight over recess appointments, especially the likes of Gaetz. McConnell is no longer constrained by the bonds of Senate Leadership, he's 82 and probably may not run for re-election in '26. Killer quote https://www.axios.com/2024/11/19/mitch-mcconnell-trump-confirmations-senate?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=newsletter_axiossneakpeek&stream=top
  16. The Cowboys are still hung over from their drubbing
  17. One of the ironies of this cult. They want NBC, CBS, and even PBS's licenses. 1) The FCC does not issue licenses to networks, only individual stations, many of which are no longer owned by the networks. 2) Cable stations, unless they broadcast over the air, are not governed by the FCC. 3) The Fairness Doctrine, which could have conceivably controlled propaganda put out by companies like Fox and such or even the "liberal slant" of programmers like MSNBC, was repealed in 1987 and the FCC removed the rule that could have conceivably implemented the policy was eliminated in 2011. Newspapers were never governed by such a policy.
  18. Who are they. The statement came in one of Trump's own Truth Social posts
  19. There were rumors floating around that Johnson wanted the Bears job if it opened.
  20. When my puggle was younger folks at the DP were amazed that my young dog could keep up with the bigger ones. She still has bursts of speed, just not as much stamina. Plus she gets bored after beating the bigger dogs
  21. But your Dear Leader said so. Do you disagree with him?
  22. Because the only thing Drunk Trumpers do well is hold show investigations.
  23. It was a bad poll, she's retiring but the, he won the election, but he still wants his pound of flesh. How can any Trumpaholics justify this posting.. Trump calls for an investigation into Ann Selzer
  24. You get a touchdown, and you get a touchdown, and you get a touchdown. Everybody gets a touchdown today
