The fact that Hamas received all that money from Qatar and this administration thinks its the champion of zion on behalf of the evangelicals...conflicts.

Its doing as well as a prestige/pop series can do in this marketplace and environment. I say prestige/pop because the quality is such that its drawing in those who want their media smart enough not to talk down to the audience and pop because regular star wars fans are seeing it as a series for adults that works in the other universe of Ewoks, Chewbaccas and friendly droids.

The voice of the woman on Ghorman doing the radio broadcast could have been Radio Warsaw in 1939, 1942 and 1944 or Budapest in 1956 or Prague in 1968. Hard hitting. The series supplies the layers of context that watching Alderan destroyed and it giving Alec Guiness heartburn (not to dismiss his acting like that he was a genius) did not.
