  1. Dictatorship has its own momentum. Fear is the motivator.
  2. Even better…RFK Jr does not get nationwide ballot access.
  3. History suggests that it worked in WW2
  4. CMV, didn’t we just vote for this?
  5. Glad more people are standing up to these people.
  6. Her district is about to suffer for this. That sounds like something from the "Hunger Games" but really that is how the world works.
  7. This concerns me https://www.the-sun.com/news/11462689/putin-arrest-military-brass-sweeping-purge-ukraine-failure/ The last thing we want from these evil Putinists is efficiency.
  8. Wine glasses clink at the Klobachur office
  9. I’ll allow it
  10. Was just reading British comedian David Mitchell's book on the monarchy of briton down through the ages. He's got a great case against libertarian philosophy in the beginning when he rails about the period known as the Dark Ages being a time when the loss or Roman authority in Briton lead to the loss of all sorts of oppression such sanitation, running water and the rule of law. Libertarians in the Dark Ages were probably pretty happy but we won't know because they didn't leave any evidence of that happiness.
  11. They gave up everything?
  12. I'll say this. I was in Panama last year and saw plenty of of middle class Chinese with jobs in the country associated with the canal and other trade. They didn't seem to be in "get-to-the-US" mode.
  13. So, apparently middle class PRC citizens are spending hard currency to fly to central America and then sneak into the US. What is weird about that is most airline routes do not cross the Pacific directly from Asia to Latin America. It has to do with not spending majority of flight over ocean which means that transit routes usually go Asian city to middle city like Dubai or Paris or Frankfurt or perhaps over the great circle to Los Angeles via Siberia/Alaska/Canada. So, the huddle masses yearning to breath free are more likely the educated and (possibly talented) who just don't like their odds of prospering in a system like that anymore. This particular article identifies Ecuador as being a hub for this transit from China to Colombia to the US border. https://www.cnn.com/2024/01/08/americas/china-us-migrants-illegal-crossings-intl-hnk-dst/index.html
  14. Former Trump advisor, Stephanie Grisham apparently is spilling tea on Trump's behavior with young female intern. Doesn't sound like he Lewinskied her but he probably can't at his advanced age.
  15. Have you met libertarians?
  16. You might have tracked on Twitter tonight that Jack Smith just filed an amendment to the gag order in the documents case because Trump was trying to get FBI agents killed because of the standard language for the raid order. So, whatever Cannon rules now that Trump has gone beserk over the language Jack smith can appeal the case to 11th circuit and get her removed.
  17. You have a security office where you work? This might be something you report through them?
  18. Strong language warning
  19. I'm wrong about the internet reporting. They must have found that to be too much volume of information. I once was in such an office and we used AI to weed out the nutters and still had hundreds a day we had to look at. The FBI Cyber crimes task force might be a better place to go. https://tips.fbi.gov/home
  20. USSS Phone number is in the phone book. They have a website. If you want to send them message with the threat you can probably do it from a virtual machine if you are worried. They will want to recontact you for follow up. My experience with anything like this is that the USSS takes the routine reports seriously and the semi-credible very seriously. The thing that REALLY concerns them is the fans who express undue love for the protectee. Think of the superfan who claims they want to marry Obama or whomever.
  21. A start
