  1. With our healthy OL we should be able to. I track the hiccup to not having them whole and healthy.
  2. Who had CPAC as the wokiest woke group of closeted dudes that ever woked?
  3. CPAC apparently underwear...ooops...did I say Underwear, I meant underway
  4. So, that was a good win over a well-coached team.
  5. Bengals walk it off after inexplicably running two plays after they got into FG range
  6. My brain exploded. Cassidy Hutchinsen is a friggin hero.
  7. the idea of creating a core of young players that all come up together is really smart from a long term branding view. There are a couple 2006-2014 era Tigers who have some cachet with the fanbase but due to the nature of the business, the culture difference with such a large group of Venezuelan stars and free agency creating gaps with the Michigan community we didn't experience some of their careers as long as we did as we did watching the 84' core grow up together. I do like having Andy Dirks, Cam Maybin, Craig Monroe be part of the current media group. It sucks that I don't really get the chance to understand what the bulk of the latin players were thinking and what they think of the current team.
  8. People should NEVER involve their kids in their business. For Jim Harbaugh it appears Jay is a very good coach. For Kirk Ferentz and Juwan Howard, their kids will be the death of their careers (or even his actual death in Juwan's case).
  9. I don't sweat the MBB team like I do the football team. They have been good and now are struggling. What i am hearing tonight about Juwan Howard's future should be interesting.
  10. I have been slowly grinding my way through this Ian Toll book about the War in the Pacific (Twilight of the Gods). I mentioned it before. So, another religious reference which might be amusing to all. The Kamikaze attacks on the US task forces covering the landings on Okinawa were incredibly persistent and deadly. They had been almost a constant state of danger for the naval forces since Mid-March and by mid May 1945 everyone was at their physical, emotional and psychological limits. Toll, describes exactly how fatigued and stressed the crews of aircraft and AA batteries were by the second month of this. Apparently Admiral Jocko Clark of TF 58.1 was so weary of the strain on the air crew that he sent this out to the crews of his TF "see Hebrews chapter 13, verse 8" I snorted when I read that. Good profane use of language to describe the situation.
  11. New Orleans is one state away from Alabama and Texas. Also, Antarctica is very far from all of the 4 CFP teams. There are places in the Pacific ocean in which they are closer to the International Space Station than they are to other populated areas on the ground. But that is only when the ISS is overhead. If they played the game outdoors north of 60' latitude, they would need lights because its dark this time of year. And I'm tired and being silly...good night.
  12. Just so long as we don't get to Rule 34
  13. Godwin's law in effect
  14. Found this while surfing for Michigan content. Relevant to the discussion about the Orioles being sold off for scrap to make way for a Lane Bryant franchise at Camden Yards.
  15. It really seems sloppy. I agree they do appear to be trying to set him up. Win or else.
  16. and hire another random noise generator who won't be able to win in Buffalo
  17. If the Bills ownership is going to fire McDermott for stupid stuff he said...have they met Jim Harbaugh?
  18. and now those 2019 comments
  19. yeah, this doesn't compute.
  20. Or Dominos, Toys R Us, etc.
  21. I'm reading about the David Rubinstein plan to purchase the Orioles. So, he's going to pump and dump the franchise?
  22. If we had played Washington in the Rose Bowl I would have felt like we were playing in their home turf as well.
  23. I wasn't tracking this...kinda unjust for Washington to have to go into the belly of the Beast whereas Michigan and Alabama are basically going to a neutral site.
