I can absolutely relate. We as people don't deserve dogs. I was at work today and one of the security dogs (probably a bomb sniffing one) was off leash and was just running between the various folks in the hall. Damn if everyone wasn't smiling. Weird, bright moment in the day brought about because at some point 10s of thousands of years ago we domesticated a wolf who was lingering around the fire.
