    We just arrived in Detroit metro tonight. We drove through Ohio (don't recommend) and all the peeps at the Turnpike rest area where we got gas at were filled with people who had just left the game and were many, many Detroit Tiger fans in a happy mood and much fewer Guardian fans realizing that turmoil and despair are their fate this season.

    Montreal did nothing to lose their franchise. They deserve another shot. The only sweetener they could include in their package would be a devotion to sports betting in all aspects of life. The city motto will change to: "Je parie ma maison sur la victoire de l'équipe de Montréal dans ce match." Or whatever the correct human translation of that would be.

    I have to say...I was at fireworks here in VA and the cell signal was so bad where I was at that I couldn't follow after the change from Olson to Holton. I am so happy to click here and see this! I don't even need to know the score or who did what.

    its got to be right under the surface. If I were thinking it about my own team it would be...why do they lose one out of three games in a weekend series so consistently?

    As for winning and losing. I wake up each morning thinking about the night before. A little more philosophical during the great years than the crap years (I remember thinking in 1989 when it was all going to crap...but we have Greg Gohr coming), but each day starts with the understanding of the Tiger's place in the Universe and why that matters.
