That could also be paving the way for an argument to put Alabama in over Texas, which could be their biggest dilemma. "Sure, Texas beat Bama, at Bama, but that was way back in September at the beginning of the season, a lot has changed since then, Alabama is not the same team now it was back then".

I think Oregon is getting a pass with people assuming they're in with a win. Their big win, over Washington, would just avenge an earlier loss. Their only other top 25 win is over Oregon St. Sure they look great on the eye test, but I'd put them in the pot with Alabama (if beats Georgia) and Texas (if beat Okie St.) and pick two of those, rather than automatically lifting them up.

Yes, the salacious rumor seems way too easy, I suspect it is completely fabricated. But he did SOMETHING, I wonder what it was. If it was a tweet, it would be posted. If it was an assault, there'd be a police record. If it was substance abuse, it would be explained differently. Hazing or bullying of Bedard?

And here's the offensive productive at the 1/4 mark. DeBrincat has slowed from his torrid start, but is still roughly a point per game, as is Larkin and surprisingly Gostisbehere. Most players' G-A-Pts look as good as I would have expected, except Veleno and Rasmussen. Probably would have expected more points from Copp and Seider by now, I guess.

Looks like they are getting Duke’s coach, Mike Elko. He was a co-ordinator at A&M for a few years before leaving to be head coach at Duke.

20 games is pretty much the 1/4 mark of the 82-game season. The WIngs are matching the Leafs' 1/4 record or better, which is what I mostly care about, lol. On pace for 102 points. Have created some separation over other playoff contenders like NJ, Buffalo and Ottawa.

If Michigan loses and Florida St. and Texas both win, that's a problem, even if Georgia beats Alabama. While I usually love college football chaos, I think it's best for Michigan if there's no chaos this weekend. If Georgia, Michigan, Washington and Florida St. all win, that's a winnable semi-final for Michigan. An Alabama upset over Georgia would be bad in that respect, because it could set up a #1 Michigan for a semi against an SEC opponent.

Bruce did a great job that 2nd period, but he always felt bad he mixed up the defenseman's name on the big McCarty goal. It's like going to the symphony and the concert pianist makes one wrong note that everyone but himself barely notices.

The playoffs will already feature two Big 10 teams - Michigan and the Oregon/Washington winner 🙂. Won’t pick OSU to make it three.

On the main camera angle, at least, it looked to me as if the Auburn defender misjudged and moved up on his own instead of backing up into the receiver. Unless there's an angle where the receiver pushed him forward.

I'm trying to think of a scenario where Michigan doesn't make it after a loss to Iowa. - Pac 12 winner will be in, with either 0 loss (if Washington) or 1 loss (if Oregon) -SEC winner will be in, with either 0 loss (if Georgia) or 1 loss (if Alabama) - Florida is in if they win tonight and next week - If Michigan loses, 1-loss Texas wins the BIG 12 and 1-loss Georgia is SEC runner up, who goes? Could be Texas. Unlike Michigan, they'd have a conference championship. And vs a common opponent with Georgia, they beat Bama on the road while Georgia would have lost to Bama.
