  1. The defensive linemen should aggressively strip sack Petiti of the trophy, don’t wait for it to be presented.
  2. Didn’t a 12-1 (or 11-1?) Ohio State and the Big 10 get left out one year? Maybe this is the SEC’s year to miss. Their collective non-conference record wasn’t great. Georgia’s biggest win is Missouri? Florida St beat a ranked SEC team in LSU. Texas beat Alabama by 10 on the road and the margin of play was at least as decisive as the scoreline.
  3. JJ shouldn’t drop back again. Just keep handing off.
  4. Louisville around 12 yards away from taking the lead.
  5. you called it i see Ferentz’s point Took Fox long enough to tell us what the ruling was
  6. I think that will be called an incomplete pass, but closer than I thought.
  7. I’m most worried about a strip sack, pick-6 or blocked punt.
  8. Wings are right in the thick of things.
  9. A Walman winner! Whew.
  10. Wings are outscoring Iowa, Florida St and Louisville. But have blown a 3-goal lead. 4-4 with under 3 minutes to go in regulation, we’ll-timed with Michigan’s halftime
  11. Big drop by Loveland. Michigan would have got another 3 or more out of that drive if he had caught that.
  12. Habs had a 5 on 3 for a minute and the Wings killed it off without any danger.
  13. Montreal cuts into the Wings’ 3-goal lead but DeBrincat gets one back. 4-2 midway through 2nd.
  14. If Florida St and Michigan wins, there are a couple of ways the committee could handle it. Bypass FSU and put Alabama and Texas both in as better teams. Or put Georgia in and leave out Texas and Alabama. Those three all would be 12-1. Two of them would be conference champs who were #7 and #8 in latest rankings, the other would be two-time defending champs who were #1 in latest rankings. Hard for Alabama to complain about missing out to one team they beat by 3 when they lost to the other team by 10 at home. Ohio St is completely dead Washington is in Texas and Alabama passed them today Georgia is still ahead of them That is not even considering Michigan or Florida St The Buckeyes will be #7 or -#8
  15. Tampa lost 8-1 to Dallas today. Their record drops to 10-10-5 for 25 points, with a minus 10 goal differential. So 2 points behind the Wings and the Wings have 3 games in hand. This after Tampa got only 98 points last season and were knocked out in the opening round of the playoffs. I don’t think we need to pencil in the Bolts as playoff automatics.
  16. The committee wil! be praying for a FSU or Michigan loss.
  17. Hell, after this Texas blowout, if Alabama beats Georgia, FSU wins decisively but Michigan only wins unimpressively against Iowa, maybe Sankey will use Pettiti's own words to argue that Michigan is the odd team out. Michigan cheated, biggest scandal in history of college football, blatant disregard of sportsmanship, threatens the integrity of the sport, urgent action needed to be taken and still needs to be taken, blah blah blah, postseason ban must be implemented immediately! ESPN would be pushing that narrative by midnight today.
