You need to make at least one pass here, even if it means stopping the clock hit an incompletion.

That 1 second is huge. If the Lions had instead made that 1st down coming out of the 2 minute warning, they’d be able to run the clock down to under 30 seconds before a FG attempt.

This was a great catch by Chet Lemon. Leaping over the fence to catch it was cool, but what elevates it is Chet having the confidence and presence of mind to pause, look into the camera and call his shot right during the play. 🙂
