    Wings always take bad penalties late when protecting 1-goal leads. Fortunately Blues are in an 0 for 15 and 4 for 43 PP slump. 30 seconds left in the powerplay, 6 on 4.

    Still 5-4 Wings with 4:47 to go. Can the Wings hang on? They've played well enough to win, IMO, but this type of game seems destined for OT.

    I don’t think they were looking to snap or even to really get a free play. I think if the Lions had jumped offside, right into the line and the Bears didn’t even get a play off, the 5 yards probably would have been enough for Chicago to try a field goal.

    Kane looks way better way sooner than I expected. I guess the question is whether his health can hold up.
