    I think that it is safe to say the Lions’ offense is back to how it was the first couple of months of the season, not like Thanksgiving or against the Bears.

    I took a shower at halftime timing it, I thought, to be back by kickoff. Must have lingered. Because I walked back in to see the Vikings kicking the extra point.

    Also annoyed me that the broadcast was showing replays while not letting us know the relevant information that a timeout had been called. The clock was running when the replays started, then rejoins the live shot 20 seconds later with the clock stopped.

    Yep, no reason with that field position. Even if the Lions had stopped the Vikings, the likely would have backed up the Lions within the 20.

    No let up now. Play the next 1:48 as if you’re protecting a 4-point lead late in 4th.

    We can expect the usual 3rd quarter sag, so I hope the Lions score and run out most of the 1st half clock here.

    The Wings are incapable of playing with a lead. A 2-1 edge for the Wings after 2 is flipped to a 3-2 deficit with 7 minutes to go.

    Lousy sequence where Raymond hobbled off and then the Devils tied it seconds later. 1-1 after 1. Michael Hutchison in net for the Wings.

    Look at the 5th and 6th Philly goals at 5:55 mark and 6:35 mark. NHL goalies need to stop both of those.

    5-4 midway theough 3rd. Hope not a bad omen that I’m about to run into Safeway for groceries, just like what I was doing during the SJ 4-0 to 4-4 game. If I was a better fan, I’d probably starve myself for the food or team rather than tempt fate like this. I might get some pushback from my wife and daughter though.
