  1. I'm trying to think of a scenario where Michigan doesn't make it after a loss to Iowa. - Pac 12 winner will be in, with either 0 loss (if Washington) or 1 loss (if Oregon) -SEC winner will be in, with either 0 loss (if Georgia) or 1 loss (if Alabama) - Florida is in if they win tonight and next week - If Michigan loses, 1-loss Texas wins the BIG 12 and 1-loss Georgia is SEC runner up, who goes? Could be Texas. Unlike Michigan, they'd have a conference championship. And vs a common opponent with Georgia, they beat Bama on the road while Georgia would have lost to Bama.
  2. Washington is this year's TCU. NIne lives.
  3. I think OSU is out unless Florida St loses to both Florida and Louisville.
  4. Darn. The only semi final opponent I’d be worried about is Bama. They were one 4th and very long from being knocked out. Georgia needs to beat them.
  5. Or at least swing it to the outside. 6 yards is a lot to expect from a run up the middle. Anyways though, stats may look like nothing spectacular but very solid and, most importantly, mistake-free. Not counting the final knee, Michigan got points on 6 of their last 7 possessions, including all 4 of their 2nd half possessions.
  6. Definitely one of the biggest wins in Michigan history.
  7. To quibble, because I am thrilled, but Michigan needs to stop yanking off their helmets after big defensive plays. If that INT had been overturned OSU would have had the ball at the 20.
  8. Now that you can’t burn 40 seconds on a stopped run, I’d consider a clinching 3rd down pass here.
  9. Are normal timeouts this long? Feels like commercials are helping the run defense.
  10. I’m pretty sure they tried it early in the game on 3rd down too, with same result. Can’t remember exactly.
  11. Games can hinge on little things like that Harrison spin after the catch on 2nd and 13.
