Canucks fans feel like Tigers fans now. Had a great decade from around 2006-2015 with high standings, playoff wins and Hall of Fame players. But just couldn’t win that elusive Cup. If they had won in 2011, same as if the Tigers had won in 2012, the fans would be more patient.

I’d like the Wings to reach 90 points. That won’t be the playoffs, but would be meaningful improvement and put them within striking distance for next year. They’re on pace for 87 points now. agree that trade deadline moves and player call-ups should be done without considering playoff chances.

I think this year's protected 1st plus Zadina would have got it done. Raty was once a projected top 5 pick, then slid to mid 2nd round. Jury is out on him.
