In NHL overall standings, teams #1-7 are all from the Eastern Conf. Teams #8-18 are all from the West.

Michigan didn't play their A game or close, but even if they had they probably would have lost by 14. Georgia is great in all facets. -

This night keeps getting better and better. Wings successfully kill off a penalty late in the 3rd but as it is expiring a puck squeezes past for the Washington go ahead goal. Ovechkin adds the ENG, 754 for his career.
