  1. I think Biden is being selfish. He's too old. Just stop. Trump is too old as well. One really good term coming out of that abomination is a really good legacy to leave. This country needs new energy. Put the ego aside - do the right thing for your country while you still have it. The courageous thing to do would be to pass the torch.
  2. only because it's now. Zimmermann was much more expensive.
  3. I miss the 90s because everything didn't ache in the 90's and I could go to concerts 5 nights a week. I am a Program Director at a radio station now and we do a ton of promotions with the record labels and concert promoters and I could go to pretty much every single concert if I wanted - for free (like a sportswriter going to every game). But those weeknight shows.........I am drained the next day. That's what I miss about the 90s. I wasn't happier then. I don't know if I am happier now or just more pragmatic and realistic and accepting of where I am. Actually I love my job, but my personal life is pretty non existent, but maybe that's good. If I have too much time to think I think negative thoughts and I boredom-eat too much. I'm going to see the Lemon Twigs on 7/24, and that's a Wednesday. I already know that Thursday is going to be a drain, but our station has Sonic Lunch that afternoon, so I can't miss that (plus it's the Accidentals and they're fantastic at Sonic Lunch, it'll be packed). But this is when the Twigs are playing and I think they're fantastic. Very old school-great.
  4. You want nostalgia? Best commercial ever made
  5. When is Wil Ledezma's comeback going to happen?
  6. Footage of RFK Jr, the post high school years
  7. FDR couldn't walk...........
  8. Donald Trump is such a cancer that I am nodding my head in agreement with **** Cheney, for crying out loud. That ad needs to be everywhere. He's not endorsing Biden, he's just telling you that Trump is a threat to this country and Biden is not.
  9. Here's a preview of how the NBA will be covered this year. BRONNY JAMES TIES SHOES 3 TIMES DURING LAKERS GAME OTHER PLAYERS, WHO ACTUALLY PLAYED, SCORED SOME POINTS.
  10. I would too but most Americans think "My cereal costs more, we have to get rid of Biden". We're a stupid country, getting dumber every single day. According to the plan of our overseers. Get us freaked out about stupid **** so they can keep hammering us when we aren't looking.
  11. I'm not right about much, but I told you all here (or the other board) as soon as he took office that he would refuse to leave and he DID. The only thing that prevented him was probably a few generals and a vice president who actually did his job (risking his life). Trump won't make that mistake again. He will surround himself with people like Michael Flynn, who he'll make Secretary of State or Chief Of Staff. Or people like that corrupt Sherrif, David Clarke. People like that will have no problem breaking every law to protect Trump.
  12. A lot of Germans felt the same way in the late 20s, but look what happened. I really do think that if Trump wins and the Republicans gain control of the house and senate (they already have the other branch in their pocket), they only need to flip a few state legislatures to be able to radically change our constitution. And yes, with Trump, senile and angry, I have no doubt that several Democratic state level politicians are going to start getting arrested and charged with crimes to get them out of the way. We're at a very very scary place right now. Actually, he won't even need to have them arrested. He'll just tell his cult to go kill them and well, thanks to our Supreme Court, he won't get in any trouble. He'll just tell his cult if you kill them, I'll pardon you. He wants to be a King, and if given a chance, he's gonna get his wish. I'm 8 years away from collecting Social Security (I could go sooner if I wanted). Put this Republican Party in charge, that's gonna be long gone. All that money I've put in my whole working life.........POOF, gone. Too old to work now? Too bad, should have made yourself a millionaire. And all those red state welfare and disability collectors are going to be in for quite a shock, but thanks to their votes, they won't be able to do anything to stop it. They'll have their King and he'll piss on them and tell them it's raining.
  13. Nominating conventions are boring. Can you imagine one where they actually nominate the candidate? I don't think it would hurt, I think it would help, actually. The new energy a Harris, Whitmer, Newsom or Shapiro would bring would be fantastic, it would be an absolute plus. Who would Harris' or Whitmer's Running Mate be? It would have to be someone with some Center or even Military credentials. I would imagine it would have to be a Governor or former Senator. Andy Beshear would be the best fit as a Democrat who is popular in a red state (Kentucky would still vote for Trump, however). I don't think Beshear really even wants that right now. Maybe Roy Cooper. Taylor Swift will be 35 in December. With this celebrity-obsessed culture, that would do it for sure.
  14. Outgoing Prime Minister of England "I've heard your anger, your disappointment and I take responsibility for this loss". Wow, that's refreshing. The new guy is an indie music fan too. I like him already. Seems like a very pragmatic guy, kind of like what we have in Biden, but 25 years younger. That's the thing about Biden, it's only about his age. He's been a steady, quiet, focused, get-to-work President. He was exactly what we needed after that bloated buffoon carnival barker from the Circus of Hate. And we're gonna turn right back around and put that ****er in charge - and oh ****, the damage he's gonna do.
  15. I just don't know why every time Kendrick Lamar and Drake fart in each other's direction it has to be breaking news on every ****ing music site. Who ****ing cares? Ooooh, two guys don't like each other. That isn't interesting.
  16. Hey guys. I get this feeling, and I don't know where it comes from, that signing Kenta to 2 years was a big mistake. Gut feeling.
  17. Danielson will make the team when he's good and ready........about 2029.
  18. Tiger fans the last decade
  19. Everything has gone epically wrong. This is absolutely horrible. Are they going to trade Skubal? I know Flaherty's gone. This current guy gave us Canha and Maeda and gave us the "Craig Paquette is a valuable player" schtick like Randy Smith. These guys are mincemeat. I thought Canha might be a leader, of sorts, with his OBP over the last 4 years, but even though thats 100 points higher than is BA, .335 is nothing to get excited about. What a bunch of garbage this whole organization is. Couldn't see that Parker Meadows wasn't ready - and then put him at leadoff. Making Torkelson worse by loading his brain with more gobbledygook, watching Riley Greene wither and die at 23 because he has nothing around him, not having a viable option at SS in case Javy played like Javy again (another player they're probably making worse with useless info), signing Colt Keith to an expensive contract before he ever played a game. It's just so awful. Nothing has changed since Avila. This slog is going to continue at least 2-3 more years after this. Absolute brutality. Sell the ****ing team. It's all that's left that you can do. Why did Harris leave his contending home-town team, was he about to get bounced? Oh, and clinging to a TERRIBLE color commentator to offset the great play-by-play hire. His (alleged) past caught up to him. Too late for me. I let my Bally's app lapse because I refuse to pay to watch this. This is like paying a dentist to inflict pain on you without improving your smile. I have no smile, however, I am a Tigers fan and it's Summer and for the 10th straight year I have no reason to smile.
  20. this lost season might be the best time to convert A.J. Hinch to being unemployed.
  21. its because they others don't yet have the name recognition. That's it. A month of getting to know all of them and they'd all do better, but please, Michelle..........save your country.
  22. 125,492,149 adults between the ages of 35-74 and this is the best we can do.
  23. If Biden wins, Whitmer will be the favourite in 2028. If Trump wins, she won't be because all the'll need to do is flip about 4 or 5 state legislatures and they are re-writing the constitution, and there ain't gonna be a 2028 election.
  24. Damn, I thought the Pistons were a LOCK on Paul George.
