The movie "Fargo" could have been nominated as a Comedy, actually because even though the story is dark, there is black humor throughout the film.

It depends on how the production company or network submits it. If they define it as a comedy, it gets submitted as a comedy. I think there is some method that the awards in question confirm it, so I don't think the bar is high. For instance, Rhea Seehorn (as Kim Wexler) was a lead actress in the final season of Better Call Saul, but the producers submitted her as a Supporting Actress - probably because they thought she had a better chance to win. If they producers of Amadeus had nominated F. Murray Abraham as Lead Actor and Tom Hulce as Supporting Actor, they both would have won Oscars that year, but they felt it would be an insult to Hulce to call him a Supporting Actor in that role. Their decision.

Penix is a first-round talent. Michigan was just dominant and beat the snot out of him. He's tough as hell too. Best situation for him would be to go to a team with an aging QB that doesn't have to play him right away. Middle first round, who are the candidates........ Seattle - Stays "home", can play behind Geno for a year or two LA Rams - How many years does Stafford have left, 2? Miami - We all know that Tua is one hit away from it being over. Plus, strategically it makes sense having a left-handed backup to a left-handed starter. The Jets - Thinking Rodgers will play one more year just to keep the spotlight on himself. And there is the possibility that Penix ends up a Raider with Jim Harbaugh as his coach. But you put Penix in a poorly-run team like Denver or Washington and he'll look like Zach Wilson. I don't know if he slides past Atlanta at #8. New coach with some real talent on offense will want to make an impact and he can be in the wings waiting for Ridder's next flop.

Now the NCAA will crap on us by allowing one of our star players to get drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves during the parade.

The Tigers winning in 1984 was the first time I had the feeling, so that will always be special. The second that Gibby's ball landed in the upper deck we got in the car and went downtown. We didn't burn anything. Soon as I got there I ran into a friend. The most emotional was the 1997 Wings. The Stanley Cup, to me, is the hardest to win. Yes, I cried my eyes out that night, my eyes well up now when I think of it. After a solid decade of suck around these parts, this is wonderful. Go ahead and vacate it, you can't take away this night and this feeling. No snowstorm is going to stop me from being at that parade (whenever it is). I'll see you all down there and we and sing and shake our heads over all the losing in the Used To Be.
