I rank March 8th on my list of months 1 - September (not too hot not too cold 2 - June (Summer is a beautiful word) 3 - May (May brings us closer to Summer) 4 - July (it was better when we had thunderstorms) 5 - April (Opening Day, Baby) 6 - August - (I like the hot summer) 7 - October (only ranking it this low because of what comes after) 8 - March (the reasons I listed ablove) 9 - December (the holiday season is a'ight 10 - November (only thing saving it is Thanksgiving) 11 - January (sucks) 12 - February (so many bad words about February that decorum prohibits me from listing them here) So in my rankings we are going from 12 to 8 to 5 to 3 to 2............

I thought you were a bad typist but I see what you did there. Least favorite month is gone, to be replaced with 8-10 inches of snow March 3rd, which will probably completely melt by March 8th.

I watch/listen a lot of routine court and judges talk about that issue quite a bit actually, about the rise BAC on typical arrests in the last few years.

But it seems to me that while it's always been an issue, that drinking to excess is far more common now, overdoing it is more common.

And young people are stupid. I was too at that age, and if you give them lots of money they tend to do bigger, stupider things.

Remember, the Lions drafted Reggie Rogers, who drove drunk and killed 3 kids. I know that was over 30 years ago, but I think that might be a factor in avoiding someone who did this. And yeah, the story got buried. The SEC........it just means more. Drunk driving where a death is invovled and a misdemeanor ? You know what? I want to propose a ban of all drunk driving PSAs. Those PSAs are full of shit. How many people get multiple drunk driving arrests and still are out there? Those PSAs are meaningless. And is it me, or is drinking because a much bigger problem in the last 10 years?

Maybe we get lucky. Although I do believe we're cursed because the Illitches did not keep their promises for The District.

I guess the hope is that Baez has a great 2023 and maybe the Dodger give us a call now that Lux is gone..

The Harris Era started 5 months ago. Give him some time As for your assertion that he did nothing, you are very very wrong. He totally revamped the scouting and training departments, made a bunch of minor league coaching hires and approved changes to the ballpark dimensions. He needs to see what he has and evaluate what's in the system by his own way of measuring things. He can't rely on what notes were in place on young players since he is basically scrapping the way Avila evaluated and developed talent. He's done plenty. Gotta get the young guys the ABs this year - see what he's got. Signing a big name on a bad team would have been dumb.
