  1. and better fans too.
  2. 6 out of 8 against divisional opponents with 2 starting pitchers and 2 outfielders on your roster and one of your names (Javy) not hitting yet - that's impressive as hell. WE NEEDED MORE OF THIS IN ARPIL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Well done, that's impressive. But you can't put down what they ate for dinner?
  4. They tried to make him go to rehab but he said no, no, no
  5. I don't know why Lynn Henning is suggesting Riley Greene has to have a 5-week rehab at Toledo. Now, it may take 5 weeks, sure, but if he starts hitting the ball well then, with a shortage of true outfielders even after Austin Meadows returns, why would they wait that long? Henning suggested in a tweet that recovery wise it will take 5 weeks at Toledo. That makes absolutely no sense. If he's not ready, then why would he play AT ALL, ANYWHERE? I don't know what happened to Lynn but he kind of stopped making sense a while ago. I started having my doubts when we interviewed him on WTKA and he said Scott Sizemore was a better defensive 2b than Placido Polanco. Um, what?
  6. Great pitcher. Sure, no problem but a couple of things. The B-12 and Lidocaine injections in his arse for a sore arm. That's not how lidocaine works. One of the Senators doing the questioning was Bill Frist, who was a physician. Frist didn't bother to bring up the fact that Lidocaine is a very localized nerve blocker. When you go to the dentist they inject it directly into the gum where they will be working, not in your arm or rear end. This always bothered me - that Frist was so star-struck he didn't ask the obvious question about why he would get a lidocaine shot in his arse. Another major problem I always had with Clemens is when he was in the AL he threw at guy's heads all the time. Wow, that's tough - for a guy that didn't have to bat. You want to dot a guy you throw it at his back or rear end where he likely won't get seriously hurt - throwing at a guy's head is a cowardly move when you don't have to bat yourself and you only set your teammates up to get hit. I KNOW this, I mean KNOW it - Mike Piazza was telling the hitters what was coming in that All-Star game in Clemens home stadium. Thanks, Mike. Plus there is the whole Mindy McCready thing, as if she needed another thing to contribute to her mental illness. I just hate the guy. Nothing against his son (who resembles young Al Kaline). I wish Kody well, but his stay here will be short when Austin comes back this weekend and Riley Greene the weekend after that.
  7. Did not know about this. Irma Garcia was one of the teachers killed at Robb Elementary. Her husband Joe, died from a heart attack two days later. They don't count that in the final tally, but they should. They were buried together. All she was doing was trying to teach little kids and that piece of shit from that psychotic state in this warped country killed her. I'm right in line with Gabe Kapler, I'm not standing for a song about bombs anymore. Fuck that. Even our anthem has violence.
  8. Tulsa was not alone last night. Someone was shot at a nail salon in Pennsylvania in a town called Pittston (boy I'd lobby for a new name). Shots fired outside Grant High school in Van Nuys, CA. On average 110 people are killed by guns every single day in this country. Great invention. Right up there with cigarettes and smartphones.
  9. Every year there is a worst-to-first team. Last year the Bengals went all the way to the Super Bowl (I told you they'd be better than we thought, but had no idea it would go that far). My Power Rankings for this year's worst-to-first sweepstakes #8 - Seattle - Drew Lock? Geno Smith? Um, no #7 - NY Jets - They had a great draft, but sorry, not with Buffalo in that division #6 - Jacksonville - They'll be better but not worst-to-first with the Colts and Titans in that division #5 - Carolina - Still don't have a solid QB, but there is always a shot if they stay healthy. Maybe Brady suddenly gets old or Todd Bowles doesn't click as head coach, maybe the Saintws are the Aints again, maybe Atlanta will run out of luck. #4 - Detroit - I still think Green Bay has a stranglehold on the division, for at least one more year #3 - NY Giants - I think the Lions are better than the Giants are good, but I don't think the NFC East is very good either and the division has a history of surprising us #2 - Denver - It's a monster division but Russell Wilson is a game-changer and has plenty of weapons #1 - Baltimore - By a mile. The difference between first and last in the AFC North was 2 games.
  10. I don't think Kim dies and it is possible the Lalo is actually alive. Just because she isn't in Breaking Bad doesn't mean she's dead. We just never see Saul Goodman's life away from the BB storylines. We never see his home. They have really done the shocking death of three main characters already. I think there is a very good chance that Kim has used Ed the Vacuum Cleaner guy, but she could be in Witness Protection and she could be in jail. Remember the flash forward scene in BCS where a phone call was expected at 3pm (once a year) and Saul ask Francesca to make it because he had to skedaddle. I think that call is Kim. We do know that Gene appears as the poster shows Gene putting on a red suit jacket. Gene is black and white, Saul is colorful. He is going back to ABQ for something. Maybe to settle a score. Maybe Lalo IS still out there and Gene is going to kill him. I don't know but I think the series probably ends with Gene and as soon as that jacket goes on the whole scene will turn to color. I know, whatever it is, it won't disappoint. I will be sad to see this amazing show go. I've never seen two shows with such attention to detail and incredible continuity and editing. Not even The Sopranos.
  11. Hey you guys....................I like this inning. Don't you? This inning is good. Good inning. Curly Fries.........
  12. The Castros are not going to go quietly.
  13. What's next a Graduation? A Farmer's Market? Very disappointed in HuffPost. You chose the Depp verdict as your headline over another mass shooting. Shameful
  14. Now it's Tulsa's turn...........Who had Tulsa in the betting pool?
  15. Arming teachers..........Are you going to teach them martial arts too because giving a weapon to a teacher, you are bringing more weapons into school and honestly I don't think it would be too difficult for a raging teenager to overpower a typical teacher. Having cops or vets in the halls of schools is a much better option, but you'd better make sure they've been mentally screened. Schools are going to end up looking like prisons. That's a wonderful lesson.
  16. So it wasn't just pissed off Tigers fans https://ftw.usatoday.com/lists/umpire-hunter-wendelstedt-missed-call-video-strikeout-tigers-twins-mlb-fans-reaction
  17. Spencer Turnbull Kyle Funkhouser Jose Cisnero Casey Mize Tyler Alexander Matt Manning Michael Pineda Eduardo Rodriguez Will Vest Joey Wentz That's almost a full MLB pitching staff of guys injured all at the same time.
  18. Yes but the neckbone's connected to the shoulder bone and the shoulder bone's connected to the back bone and the back bone's connected to my WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON BONE !!!!!!!!!
  19. Sorry if I am not buying that.
  20. He was deflecting by talking about players missing time in the pandemic year and missing time during the lockout and how it affected them. I think that's B.S. because more teams would be having serious issues and they are not. This seems to be a Tigers problem.
  21. "Something didn't look right after that last pitch" sounds pretty scary to me. I mean, come on man. This just isn't fair anymore. You HAVE to ask what's going on with their training. You just have to at this point. Nobody's luck is this bad.
  22. Calling B.S. on this, why isn't every other team having such serious issues?
  23. It probably cost him half a step on a very close play.
  24. Wait, what happened to Joey Wentz?
