  1. Stafford misses the season and John Wolford becomes the next Tom Brady. Why? Because it's the Lions, that's why.
  2. $53,400,000 in total. I know we really shouldn't swear too much around here, but FUCK YOU, ALEX ! Everyone knows they'll never get a dime of it when he claimes bankruptcy even though Alex will probably still live in a mansion (See: Kwame Kilpatrick). These poor parents and what they went through and don't be fooled, the attacks from Jones' followers will continue. No First Amendment rights violated, Alex is not under arrest. Actions have consequences. Words have meaning. Use them wisely. Now go focus on getting the frogs into conversion therapy so they can be straight again. You Fucking Twat.
  3. Let me know when any of those guys puts together 3 league average years in a row.
  4. Who even cares anymore? Doesn't matter, they'll mess it up. Even if they hit on the first pick they won't get shit in Roudns 2-10 because they pretty much never do.
  5. Especially when you know how and when half the cast would die. LOL.
  6. I never thought I would say this and it really comes down to how the stick the landing here, but Better Call Saul might be better than Breaking Bad. I don't know, the end will determine it because they are pretty equal and I never thought that would happen. I thought a show with Saul Goodman in the lead was a silly idea. So glad I was wrong.
  7. Jackie Bradley Jr. anyone? I mean, what could it hurt at this point?
  8. Saw the Raconteurs at Michigan Theater that night. After the show, got in my car to drive home and as soon as I turned on the radio this happened and that's the second I realized that we could win it all.
  9. CVS and Walgreens are closing stores https://www.thesfnews.com/shoplifting-has-forced-walgreens-to-close-17-stores/77228
  10. I'm a liberal (in case you all didn't know that) but some of the things in San Francisco and Portland are just beyond stupid. Just have some common sense. Don't have to be extreme about it.
  11. "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco." - Mark Twain But the good thing about San Francisco is that you can casually shoplift and nobody's allowed to stop you and even if you did get stopped by the police the DA won't prosecute you. (Why you can't find certain chains in the entire city anymore).
  12. But Time magazine rated it as one of the best cities in the WORLD. The WORLD, man, The WORLD !
  13. But the look on his face in these postgame pressers............I'm gonna say a word many of us know here..............Lionized !
  14. Even more damning than just leading the league in errors is realizing he missed 2 weeks of the season.
  15. If AJ implemented a cheating scheme like Houston's they'd still suck.
  16. I have not watch a second in 3 weeks now. I was only hate-watching anyway Is it me or does it feel like A.J. is phoning it in?
  17. League leader in errors now. he could not be a bigger bust, could he? he has a lot of money riding on next year, I hope it wakes his ass up.
  18. according to the hype - and not just around here. just make sure you stay downtown Detroit went from looking like it was bombed to being full of expensive apartments and restaurants. no middle ground. and that's why it will probably fail eventually.
  19. Its amazing the damage that Meth and Sovereign Citizens are doing to people. 1/3rd of the people are on Meth and 1/3rd are people that just refuse to get a license or pay for insurance. There is the 'new' meth that is causing widespread schizophrenia and serious and permanent brain damage. Fuck Walter White.
  20. Even if he's getting dotted up there, I can't stand listening to him for a second If he was in front of me I'd probably get arrested for at least attempting to punch him in the face.
  21. I haven't heard one word about that dog I posted above. Gotta tell ya, I'm pretty pissed off about it. If he's already adopted or if you rejected me (I don't know why they would), then let me know. This search has been very discouraging so far. Took me about 6 weeks after Tony died to get Diego, though and it's been 4 weeks since I he passed. Saw a cute and very sweet shepherd at Huron Valley Human Society but right now he's claimed. He's meeting the woman's other dog today. I kind of hope they don't get along. Is that bad of me?
  22. Just a couple of days after the deadline. We traded away David Price and Mike was pissed.
  23. - None of these are given away in that cryptic finale teaser I saw one theory that talked ab out the title of the next episode being Waterworks. Could be multiple meanings Waterworks - Kim works for a sprinkler company Waterworks - Gene cries his way out of getting caught at Cancer Guy's house Waterworks............Water Works is only 2 spots ahead of Go To Jail. Interesting theory. Marvin Gardens lays between. What if cancer guy's name is Marvin? We already know that the cops show up at Cancer Guy's house. We saw that in the Waterworks teaser. One of two things are going to happen..........Gene goes in the house to find CG either dead or dying and he is able to get out of the house just before the cops show up or he doesn't have time to get out so he starts doing CPR on the guy to make it look good for the cops (I was worried, I followed him home, he didn't answer, I broke in) If CG dies it's very doubtful that there would be an autopsy. He's drinking heavily, taking cancer meds and weak from the cancer - and unlike TV Cop shows a true tox screen would take several weeks to reveal an overdose. So even if they did do an autopsy it would give Gene time to hightail it out of there.
  24. Funny...........when Detroit was still a shithole we had at least 2 good pro teams at all times, sometimes 3. But since *The Comeback all of our teams have sucked Would you rather have Shit City with good sports Or *Gleaming New City with horrible teams * - except for the neighborhoods
  25. If baseball wants to stabilize they need a salary cap and a salary floor and that is never ever ever going to happen. It's getting like the NBA, where you have glamour teams and feeder teams and the Tigers are a feeder team. Soon as our guys get good, we'll trade them or they'll bolt in free agency. At least with Chris Illitch at the helm. This is why Milwaukee made the bold move of trading Josh Hader. They know they can't pay him after next year and they also know that he'd never have more value than right now, so they had to trade him and as much as it hurts the fans in Milwaukee, they played it the Tampa Bay Way. I don't know, I don't think baseball is headed in the right direction for expansion. I think they are closer to retraction with the woeful situations in Oakland, Tampa and Miami. KC, Cleveland and Pittsburgh aren't much better. If Oakland, Tampa and Miami end up moving to say - Las Vegas, Nashville and Montreal, where would expansion work? I don't think it would work in North Carolina. To me that would feel like another Tampa/Miami situation. They've never been into baseball there. Indianapolis - I think it would be a great market for baseball, but would never get the okay because the Reds, Cardinals, White Sox and Cubs would block it. The best place for an expansion team is Northern New Jersey but the Yankees, Mets and Phillies would never allow it. And Portland? Portland is a political nightmare. My sister, who is as liberal as me, couldn't take it anymore and moved back here. It's liberal to it's stupidest extreme. Anyone here from Portland? You know. Plus they never really supported minor league baseball either. People actually move to Portland to live the homeless lifestyle. Yes, that's a thing and they pick Portland because the city lets them go wherever they want pretty much. How would you like to wake up and see people camped on your easement? Hint: that ain't dog doo doo on the grass. As far as the Tigers. After all these years of rebuilding we don't have enough prospects to even pretend to matter on a trade deadline day. Our best hitters, and I think I'm legit in saying this are a 39 year old has-been who is 30% of your total payroll and hits only singles now, and Victor Reyes and Harold Castro. Can't draft. Can't develop. Can't trade. No indication that anything will change because the family apparently still makes money off of it. As long as they can profit, why would they change anything? Hope they have a full house Saturday for Lou. He deserves it. He absolutely should be in the Hall of Fame and the fact that he was aloof shouldn't keep him out, but other than that and Opening Day, when will you ever see a full house at Comerica? I'm not even sure 2023 Opening Day will sell out. Especially if Al is still the GM. Fans are rightly pissed. Another year of 4 pro teams with no playoffs for Suck City.
