I'm not a fan of Britney Spears. When I worked in Top 40 she was about 15 years old and let's just say not taking pictures that a minor should be taking, all with dear old Dad's blessing. I do root for her to make a bunch of money so her Dad can't steal it from her and if she gets stupid and blows it all, it's her money to do that with. The amount of Auto Tune on this I don't think is a stylistic choice here, it's just too overbearing. My guess is Elton felt bad for her and wanted her to make a lot of money, but come on Elton, why would you do this to one of your masterpieces? This is just truly awful (and I am sure it will be a hit because Top 40 is absolute garbage)

French Fries from the air fryer..............Overshoot the cooking time by about 3 minutes. I know I shouldn't be eating french fries but I made a massive amount of orange pao stir fry Monday........so that was dinner Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.........had to break it up, there is still one more meal's worth. Ever notice that there is a little type of bloop sound? That's triggered when someone actually answers. I answer because I am wondering if someone with an American accent will ever take the call. Never happens. Sometimes I like to fuck with them a little. They'll give you a little schpeel about my car warrantee about to expire and then they'll ask about the model of the car and I will say "well, you should know that, you called me, you said it was about to expire". Sometimes I will answer in a strange accent myself and there are other times I will say "you're calling a prison........we can set up a room for you if you'd like".

But also compare the price of higher education (adjusted for inflation) to today. Health Care and Higher Education have skyrocketed more than any other aspect, so actually it is fair.

The student loan announcement is a big move but of course it wasn't a total forgiveness of all debt so people have to bitch about it. It's I Want Everything Right Now !!!!! It's annoying.

Just annoying as hell. I gamble on sports myself (but lightly, $10 a time), the people on these shows all sound like degenerate gamblers and I always wonder if they are so fucking good at this, why are they working for a living? And as fun as it has been to even gamble a little bit, the explosion of this has made sports less enjoyable.

In the last week I've had a massive uptick in Scam calls. Anyone else I think what might have happened is I just got a new roof put on the house and had to get some financing for it and I am guessing my phone number got thrown out there into the scamverse. I should get an airhorn and blow their ears out. Hi, I am Woman With American Accent calling about Social Security, our records show that blah blah blah. Press 1 to learn more. (now I know it's a scam, but I press 1 out of curiosity) - and wouldn't you know, no more American accent. Occasionally I will get jobs to voice things like training videos or even phone menus "Press 1 to be put on hold even longer". "If you're looking for something different for lunch, try Millie's American Bistro, just 200 feet from the Lake Street station"............ I wonder if the voiceover people they use for these scams even know that their voices are being used to scam people? I used to get a call with a recording of Jamie Dimon from Chase Bank. Only thing is that they pronounce Dimon wrong. Might be a hint something ain't right ?

She is very easy to love. She's the happiest and sweetest dog. And she has settled in here like she's lived here forever. I bought a camera to watch her when I am at work and she mostly lays in the bed or lays in the bay window. She doesn't seem to have separation anxiety (she'd been homeless and then in a kennel for several months). She knows she's got it good here, because she does.

Bought a six pack of new socks and today put on a pair and did so with the full knowledge that no matter what I do, and how hard I try, these socks will never EVER be this white again.

Robbie Grossman spends a week in Atlanta and they fixed him. Or - they undid what the Tigers staff did to him. Now I am starting to understand why all these guys on our team are having the worst years of their careers at the same time. I think they are filling the Tigers hitters heads with too much information and those guys are up there thinking too much instead of just doing what they have been doing since they were kids. If AJ failed to recognize this might have been a problem, why the hell is he in on picking the new GM? I just so bad in so many ways. I have no hope for the next 3 years.

Actually TK has been playing on Special Teams (not in a receiver role). He's just that steady guy, that depth guy every team needs. You know, the sure-handed white guy that gets open even though he's not the fastest, but he actually is pretty fast. He made two catches on Saturday that I am not sure any other receiver not named St. Brown could make. You know at least 2 WRs will get hurt this year. I like Kalif Raymond because he's scrappy, but he's so small.............

Lucy inherited Diego's favorite toy (Hedgie The Hedgehog). Chillin' on a Sunday. Okay, I'll stop now.

Got more of her backstory yesterday. She was found in Detroit in May. All the Detroit shelters were full and the finder could not foster another dog, so they called around and Washtenaw County took her in and gave her to Huron Valley. She had a fairly large mass and they removed most of it. The kind of mass it is - there is a 10% chance it could grow back and I will need to take her to the vet every 3 months. She was microchipped and her name was Lucy all along but the phone call to the number on the chip was never returned. She's been through a lot, but the folks at HSHV absolutely adored her. When I got her yesterday they got on the walkie talkie and told everyone Lucy's going home if they wanted to say goodbye and everyone on the staff came to say goodbye. She ate that up. She's housebroken, and very good about it. I'll be getting a lot more exercise with her around because she loves walks (don't all dogs?). She doesn't beg for people food and won't eat directly from my hand (yet). She's kind of picky so I got some canned chicken to mix with her food and she gobbled that up. She plays with her Moose toy by herself, she'll throw it around. She loses her mind over belly rubs and her whole body rocks when she gets them (I think it's her tail wagging her body)...........and she is very very sweet, like you can get contact Diabetes just from being around her. She seems to respond more to women than men (except me now) She has not taken long to get comfortable here and she knows she's safe with me. She jumped into the recliner with me at bedtime (I sleep in a recliner). 50 pound dog with me is a bit too much and too warm, but she got down and slept next to the chair most of the night. Follows me a lot but not as much as yesterday. I don't know how long she has, but she's gonna live happily.

I'm sorry you're still going through your loss. I am too, despite my new best friend today. Last night I swear I saw Diego in the corner of my eye. But this dog I got...........very very sweet and she goes from 100 to out cold like a 2 year old.

I just feel that it's all about money. Don't get me wrong, I was happy to see Michigan won the Big Ten last year because anything short of an Indy appearance should have meant Harbaugh's job. But the whole money angle is so overwhelming. I know there never was an innocence to it, but it's just so over the top now that it's something to watch, but I'm not doing any daily countdown in anticipation. If the conferences and schools are only going to make money-based decisions then they players should get paid, but it's just too much too fast and it's just ugly to me. I'll watch on September 3rd, but my day won't be planned around it like it used to. Maybe that just happens when you get older, but its just too many things.

I know it's preseason, but I don't know how Tom Kennedy does not make this team. I think it's Quintez that doesn't make the team.
