    We were in desperate need for a Major League outfielder (because Al Avila can't draft) and the trade still makes sense to me. Paredes could end up being a Jhonny Peralta type of guy, but I am not giving up on Meadows. The guy has had a very very strange season and if he fully recovers from Vertigo we will see a good starting outfielder.
