  1. I guess Montreal's slump is over, eh?
  2. Just has a better arm........much better.
  3. He just has a better arm.
  4. Okay, it's 33-7...........please work on your passing game. Team's going to be 7-0 with 5 touchdown passes all season.
  5. If that player was a sovereign citizen would he still be illegal? Would he be a traveler and not a receiver? And would Jimmy have really had whacked Karen if she went into that vacant store? So many questions
  6. Okay, you have a fat lead now...............4th quarter coming up. Maybe work on that passing game now? As long as you can keep NW from scoring a TD on the next two drives.
  7. No, he can't throw a receiver open. It could be below average receivers too, but every downfield pass he throws is way off target and usually very up for grabs I have seen plays where his receivers could be open but he does not recognize it or he throws it behind them. They can still easily win today and go 7-0, but could end up 8-4 still because if they have no passing game, they aren't going to beat better teams. Indiana's record is not great, but look at who they've lost to - all top 10 teams. I would like to see Henning play more - at least more plays down the field. If he can get separation can Cade hit him or throw him open?
  8. Cincinnati can go unbeaten, but I don't think there is any way the Power 5 Mafia is letting them in that playoff. They'll find reasons to keep them out.
  9. If they win today it won't matter. If they think they are doing any damage against MSU, PSU or OSU without having a passing game that is good for more than 5 yard throws, they are out of their minds. Cade throwing down field to an open receiver is like Jared Goff throwing a spiral. He can't hit a guy in stride. Why bring JJ in and never let him throw a meaningful pass. Are they only bringing him in so he won't transfer?
  10. They're gonna blow the undefeated matchup, aren't they?
  11. It's sillier than Jim Harbaugh printing up Big Ten East Division Champion t-shirts while OSU was in Indy.
  12. First road game First game in Canada First game without one of their best forwards because he won't get the shot. Yipee. Oh, I mean Youppi
  13. Exactly, that guy didn't die - and in an incredible ass-kissing move actually apologized TO Cheney.
  14. That something was a bullet. It wasn't just debris, it was a .44 bullet. Someone didn't check the chamber.
  15. Plus there were dozens of witnesses here. This isn't Robert Wagner pushing Natalie Wood off a boat in the dark with nobody watching. That happened in the company town and could be covered up to protect the studio and it's star (before Al Gore invented the internet). . This didn't happen in the dark. Someone's going to say something.
  16. Since the police didn't do anything wrong here, why wouldn't it be in their interest?
  17. Major pet peeve of mine is why, for some reason, I get ads for Shinola products. One came across one of the websites I was browsing for Shinola sweatshirts. $160. Are you f'ing kidding me? I hate them. I really hate them. I think they are frauds. One time an ad for a $2500 turntable popped up. For $2500 I want a hologram of the artist to appear in my living room. Let's start a company called Shit and we'll have a logo achingly similar to Shinola, but just different enough to not violate copyright laws. We can sell our sweatshirts for $35 and watches for $50 (which will be just as good as theirs) and make fun of them to the point where they sue us and bring us free publicity.
  18. It doesn't help that Alec Baldwin has a legendary bad temper.
  19. If the police are investigating this, they have to come forward with the information. They can't cover that up. The reason why the gun was lethal may never be known, but the actual action that happened will have to be reported. Plus there will be a lawsuit coming.
  20. I am wondering if he was waving it around and it had a sensitive trigger. But even the explosion from a blank or paper wadding would require someone to be standing up close, really close. Since two people got hit, it sounds like it might have been a live round. A few years ago there was a movie with William Hurt being shot about Greg Allman. There was a dream scene where Allman is sleeping in a bed on railroad tracks as a train bears down. The director was denied permission to use the railroad tracks, but ignored that and shot the scene anyway on a bridge, and as you can guess, a real train came along. Everyone cleared the tracks but when the train hit the bed a metal piece flew off and hit a camera assistant in the head and neck and killed her. Senseless.
  21. But there were supposed to be major changes after Brandon Lee died too................If they can put realistic flames in space for Star Wars movies (where things would never explode like that), they can put realistic muzzle flashes in guns. The details of this are going to be fascinating.
  22. I only knew it because of a Teenage Fanclub song.
  23. They want it to look as real as possible and they want a muzzle flash (something that easily can be done in post production). When Brandon Lee got shot the gun expert was not on set that day (they didn't want to pay him). It's possible that they loaded a clip of blanks, not realizing there was a live round in the chamber. When Jon Erik Hexum died, he held a prop gun up to his head and pulled the trigger joking around between takes. They used a paper wadding back then that reacted with the gunpowder to give off a loud sound and bright flash. If he had been holding the gun just a foot away from his head he'd only have had slight burns, but the concussion was real and it fractured his skull right at the temple. I think in that case they used real gunpowder instead of lower grade "fake" stuff that other movies/tv shows used.
