  1. It would not shock me to see them stun the world and beat the Rams because that would be such a Lions thing to do. This week is possible because I think they will be fired up for their coach, the anti-Patricia. I think they'll beat the Eagles, because the Eagles are hot garbage I'll go with 4-13 Eagles, Vikings, Bears and Broncos
  2. Seems like they are just loaded with injuries. Trout and Rendon, they both make a fortune and they always seem to be hurt now. They will have to pay to keep Ohtani too, but I think they will be the ones who sign Correa. I think we'll end up signing someone for a year Maybe Javy Baez or Simmons. I think Seager goes back to the Dodgers.
  3. You need to keep the Angels in the mix there too........They seem to think spending a lot of money is the way.
  4. Jesus, Kyrie Irving is a f'ing idiot. He's one of these guys who thinks he's a genius. He also thinks the earth is flat, which instantly disqualifies the genius status. He's poison. This is all about getting attention. Someone I work with lost her job for not getting the shot. She's not a right winger. I just don't get it.
  5. Hell yes Bill, you ARE a Rocket Man.
  6. You know, that with Tarantino's universe and the way everyone is connected that one day we are going to find out that the Gimp is a descendant of Calvin Candie or maybe even the American-born son of Hans Landa or something like that. Maybe QTs last film (he swears he is stopping at 10) will be the saga of The Gimp and how he wound up in the clutches of Zed & Maynard and how Marcellus Wallace was the man who freed him.
  7. oh, they're still brothers -- in Hell. I wonder what Mr. Wallace's friends did with the Gimp.
  8. Watched the first Kraken game last night.........started craving some Seagram's 7
  9. I'm talking more about high schools across the state. Outside the tri county area it's much more anti-vaccine and anti-mask.
  10. I did like seeing the Michigan team do the whole Jump Around thing at Wisconsin with as much intensity as the crowd. That's something I haven't seen in a long time and I think it gave them an edge, or at least it took that edge away from Wisconsin.
  11. But The Team The Team The Team worked for a long time after Bo said it. You said Dantonio started the narrative, and these things can find of feed themselves for awhile. At some point Dantonio just checked out. But Tucker's is bringing that back, he's using that "they don't think you're as good as them" thing. You can't see that? The last time I saw Michigan get really fired up was Lloyd's last game. There's sort of been some little flashes here and there, but Michigan has not had an edge, a nasty edge, for a very long time. Throwing a spike in the ground at MSU's stadium was just stupid.
  12. No, but most of those other states were already spiking so they didn't have much of an uptick, while we WERE doing well, and then school started. The timing does point to that. That is the most conventional reason for mass gatherings.
  13. But the kids playing now actually remember that time, they were 9/10 years old and it was probably when they started becoming real fans.
  14. You're dealing with a bunch of 20 year olds, all you have is recent. Think they care about anything before 2010?
  15. This is from school being back in session.
  16. I don't know if I'd go that far, but I mean, it's clearly labeled Small Carts/Large Carts. There are few things, on this earth, that are less ambiguous, yet they still can't do it. Why? FOR THE LOVE OF HUMANITY, WHY !!!!!!!!??????
  17. I just now found out that Maynard & Zed from Pulp Fiction are brothers.
  18. Ah, we'd have already broken him by now. If the Lions had taken Brady, he'd currently be a banker or something like that.
  19. If they were already his congregation after 8 previous DUIs, I think they are probably just fine with him.
  20. A Ferndale Pastor is facing Attempted Murder chargers because he was driving drunk up north and the cops tried to talk to him at a convenience store and he refused to speak to them. Took off, hit a building and threw his car in reverse and aimed for the cops and slammed into a patrol car. He had 8 DUIs already. You know, I'm sorry if you have a substance abuse problem, but I would say that you should probably be spending 20-30 years behind bars once you've hit 4 or 5 DUIs. How was this allowed to happen? Because he quotes The Bible? All these PSAs about Drinking & Driving and this guy's out there. Pretty hollow warnings from our criminal justice system. Lucky he didn't kill anyone.
  21. Tip: If you wouldn't say it out loud at a podium in front of people, you probably shouldn't say it in an email, especially in a job with a public profile where people are ALWAYS looking to tear you down. For anything. Also - Don't be a racist, misogynistic, homophobic a-hole who can't really coach.
  22. I agree Romad.........He'll probably run for Senate now. He's got a shot with this Republican party. He can't go to MNF again. URBAN MEYER, COME ON DOWN, YOU'RE THE NEXT CONTESTANT IN...................YOU'RE FIRED! What a debacle. With the NFL looking to avoid a billion dollar lawsuit with St. Louis, it wouldn't shock me to see Jacksonville relocate there - or maybe even Toronto. This Urban Meyer hiring was supposed to solidify them there, and it's been a disaster. All our coach did is get choked up. I'm fine with that. His players would run through a wall for him.
  23. This song got stuck in my head today..........and I was shocked at how well I remembered the lyrics.
  24. Did something happen today (Monday)?
  25. I would much rather have a coach who gets emotional after a tough loss, then the arrogant ass we previously had, who had his team quit on him and acted like we were lucky to have his presence. If some thing a few tears doesn't mean he's tough, then I think you are out of your mind. He got emotional because he's not going to lash out at his guys, he's not going to blame anyone and I think he knows he's dealing with something he can't fix right now. I'd much rather have him make his coaching mistakes now, than later. If he makes the same mistakes in Year 3, then I'll have an issue with it. His players play hard for the dude. It's better than the emotionless boob we had who actually would talk about his Patriots days to defend his bad coaching, when he had little to nothing to do with why the Patriots won. (Brady made them great and Belichick was a cheater).
