Auburn is about to beat Alabama, barring a fumble or something like that.
If this holds.........
1 - Georgia
2 - Michigan
3 - Cincinnati
4 - Notre Dame
5 - Ohio State (ain't dead yet)
6 - Oklahoma/Oklahoma State winner
7 - Alabama
Could be a nightmare for the Power 5 Cartel. Two Non Power-5 teams in the playoff (even though one of them is Notre Dame) - or - a 2-loss team getting into the playoff, maybe even 2.
I think this year's chaos is the catalyst for an 8 team playoff with each Power 5 conference guaranteed a spot and then 3 at-large bids.
Think about that whole stupid weather thing. The weather is not the reason Michigan's O-Line leveled OSU's front 7 today. Might have been a small factor in OSU's passing game, but not as much as the Edge rushers were - and Stroud played really well today.
I have always hated the weather excuse. Oh, did Michigan shut the weather off when they had the ball? You both played in it, should have been better prepared for it.
Some people hear they are talking to Baez and they get disappointed. If they aren't talking to every free agent shortstop and if they aren't talking to every team who might have a shortstop to trade then they aren't doing their jobs.
We still don't know where the 1918 "Spanish" flu started. But here's a really interesting fact. Few countries contained an outbreak of it better than Spain did. First of all, they acknowledged it immediately and told people to stay in (and they did). Secondly, they weren't involved in World War I. But because they acknowledged it, they got tagged with it.
I haven't really watched this game in a few years. Not going to watch it today. I'll pop in and if they are winning late (ba ha hah ha ha ha, I just said if they are winning ha ha ha ha), I'll stick with it.
I'll just watch your reactions here.
There will be a flurry before Thursday. I think we'll have our shortstop by then. I think someone is going to vastly overpay Correa and the shortstop we end up with will end up being a better value (Story, Semien, Baez). We wanted Rich Aurilia (don't know if they Tigers did, but when Seattle grabbed him, we "settled" for Carlos Guillen and we won that by a landslide.
Campbell could have a distinction that hasn't happened before and may never happen again. To go winless in a season as a player and a coach WITH THE SAME TEAM.
Jim Caldwell, I'm sorry. You made some puzzling decisions on Sundays, but you are Vince Lombardi on this franchise.
