  1. Yes. I believe the rules are changing as soon as the games are played tonight (Tuesday).
  2. Yes, the Cardinals l,ost by 3 scores, by all means give them much higher grades. Wow.
  3. Think about it. Goff was 21 for 26, no picks (close a time or two, but every QB is) Their #4 running back from the practice squad had 112 yards Their O-Line protected the QB extremely well Their defense was fantastic and they neutralized Kyler Murray. The decimated secondary gave up few big playes Charles Harris was a beast. They had few penalties and none of them resulted in killing a drive or extending a drive for Arizona AZ got in the red zone 4 times and no touchdowns. Very impressive against a "good" team.
  4. Did the Lions play a perfect game yesterday?
  5. Watched a movie with Sandra Bullock called "Unforgivable" on Netflix and thought it was really good. Not the cheeriest film, certainly not a comedy.
  6. Okay, Okay. Lets just say Greene and Tork have incredible Springs (or great starts to the AAA season while baseball is locked out to start the season)........and you start the season with the following roster Catchers - Tucker Barnhart, Erica Haase Infielders - Javier Baez, Miguel Cabrera, Jeimer Candelario, Willi Castro, Harold Castro, Jonathan Schoop Outfielders - Akil Baddoo, Riley Greene, Robert Grossman, Victor Reyes. What's your batting order? Grossman, lf Greene, rf Baez, ss Schoop, 2b Cabreara, dh Candelario, 3b Torkelson, 1b Barnhart, c Baddoo/Reyes, cf
  7. The 2021 Draft so far. 1 - Sewell - has been very good after a few rocky rookie weeks. 2 - Onwuzurike - Hard to grade him because he is part of a rotation, but he has not been bad 3 - McNeill has had some really good flashes and looks like a solid Round 3 guy 3 - Melifonwu - Incomplete 4 - St. Brown - He's become a very good slot receiver/safety valve. Last dropped pass was Week 2. Goff really trusts him now. He might be one of the steals of the draft 4 - Derrick Barnes - He's alright. Not great, pretty decent rookie season for a 4th round guy 7 - Jamar Jefferson - When he was healthy and when he played he was better than a 7th rounder. Draft this well for 2 more years and you might have something.
  8. Vaitai has quietly had a solid season. Still overpaid, but much better as a Guard than a Tackle
  9. Monday the Lions should be calling Charles Harris' agent and setting up an extension.
  10. When does Manchin announce he's switching parties?
  11. All that hype over "Lose For Hughes". Is he all that good? We got Mo Seider at 6 and he is much better so far.
  12. Disney is a pet peeve. Okay, so I no longer can watch ESPN on You Tube TV. My life will be just fine without it. But Channel 7 - a local FREE channel is gone now too? Screw Disney.
  13. Mr. Show had their take too (I highly encourage you to watch the follow up to this: Why Me? The Bob LaMonta Story).
  14. The story of him kicking the kicker, I find that hard to believe, but here's the thing - he treated a lot of people like shit and when you do that, like - a week earlier having his assistant coaches justify their resume in front of everyone - even if it wasn't true, you are going to have a queue of people out the door ready to say it was or that they saw everything. That's the "cause" right there, physically assaulting an employee. Maybe you get away with that in 1985, but not now. I guess Interim-Coach-For-Hire Darrell Bevel said that on Wednesday Meyer left practice (early afternoon) and just never came back and wasn't answering any phone calls. They still had plenty of work to do with players and coaches with prepping and looking at film and he was just gone. Is this guy just going to go back on TV now? Like, "Hi, I'm Uncle Urbie.". I wouldn't touch that guy. He's just toxic. But, if Rick Pitino and Bobby Petrino kept getting jobs..................... URBAN DECAY IN JACKSONVILLE
  15. Yeah Joe Buck, the player was cold. COME ON, MAN, YOU SAID YOU DON'T WANT TO SPECULATE ON A SERIOUS INJURY BEFORE KNOWING ANYTHING AND THEN YOU SAY THAT ? Not a Joe Buck fan to begin with, but man, you're better than that, Joe.
  16. Biden found Obama's tornado machine last weekend and punished 4 states that didn't vote for him.
  17. ♫ Ho Ho, Hey Hey Covid strains are here to stay ♫ This is the Earth's immune system fighting it's biggest cancer.............us.
  18. It probably is time for a new policy. If you have been vaccinated and are asymptomatic but test positive you are okay to take part in........whatever. If you are unvaccinated and test positive you can't take part in whatever and if you lie about your vaccination status you have to sit in a room and listen the song Liar by Rollins Band for one full month on a continuous loop.
  19. Yes it will, and the new strains will be in full effect. When they run out of Greek letters, how will they name them? Dead Presidents. That Buchanan Strain was bad, but this Fillmore Strain is awful.
  20. Leftwich makes sense because he played there, but he looks to have a pretty bright coaching future and it might not be the best idea to take your first shot with such a dysfunctional franchise. It is hard to believe that Jacksonville was one play away from the Super Bowl just four years ago. Lefty might be better off waiting for a shot with a team that is closer like the Vikings, Eagles or Panthers
  21. Byron Leftwich, but Jim Caldwell would be someone with experience that could calm things down Guys, he had a winning record 3 out of 4 seasons with the f**king Lions.............That's Hall of Fame right there.
  22. I think Harbaugh stepped into a really good situation, though. The 49ers had a lot of talent and they were severely underachieving, so he didn't have to build it, he just needed to fix it. Alex Smith not being a problem when he switched QBs probably helped the whole team. A lot of these guys come into terrible situations with no pro experience as a head coach and they quickly realize that the players have more power than they do and they aren't just going to be respected or feared. Patience is not abundant in pro football these days. I thought Bobby Petrino was the worst, but Urban topped him. Anyone remember Frank Kush? He used to hit and kick players, but that was in college, and he got fired for that. That didn't play too well in the pros and he was a terrible coach there. Urban kicked a kicker............I think if he had kicked just about any other player he might have had a much different response. Shows what a gutless turd he is.
  23. 'Cruitin is more like like 'Bribin' these days. I was for players getting paid because every decision in college football has been based solely on money in the last 10-15 years, but the amounts feel a bit ridiculous and it seems like there is a big chance this blows up in everyone's face. Only a matter of time before high school players get *legally* paid. Couple this with open gambling and it all feels more dirty than ever.
  24. Dabo Swinney, to me, would be the favorite for the Jags job because of Trevor Lawrence. I know they might be hesitant to hire another college guy (they are all awful people), but Urban is a special kind of awful. Dabo seems to be very upset at the new rules in college ball, so perhaps he should move on now.
