Ben Johnson has no history of developing a young QB. He's only ever worked with one QB. He took a veteran QB who had a history of success and got him back to that level of success. The Lions offense relies heavily on Goff making pre-snap reads and delivering the ball on time and with anticipation. I haven't seen Williams come close to being able to do that, and it's not like he done it at college. The question is, can Johnson coach Williams to make those reads or can he design an offense around his skillset? I honestly feel like Dallas may be a better fit. Dak is basically Goff 2.0. Would Johnson mesh with Jerry Jones? One good thing about Jones if you Johnson is he doesn't have a quick trigger. He stuck with Jason Garret for a long time.
